Broadway's Jasmine Forsberg and Benji Santiago star in McCarter Theatre’s World Premiere of "I & You: The Musical". (PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Center announced that Jasmine Forsberg and Benji Santiago will play the leads in its season opener, the world premiere of I & You: The Musical. Based on Lauren Gunderson’s internationally acclaimed play I and You, the new musical reunites Gunderson with director Sarah Rasmussen, who helmed the play's original premiere in 2013 and now serves as McCarter's Artistic Director. The production runs September 13 through October 12, 2025.
Wednesday, October 8 - Grunin Center hosts A Conversation with Admiral James G. Stavridis, USN (Ret.). (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Foundation will host a conversation with Admiral James G. Stavridis, a distinguished retired 4-star U.S. Navy Admiral and former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, at the Grunin Center for the Arts on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Thursday, October 2 - Vivid Stage presents the World Premiere of "The Mighty Four". (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, presents The Mighty Four by Catherine Butterfield, a world premiere production about family, friends and politics, from October 2-12, 2025. In the play, the lives of a prominent liberal couple are upended when their son commits a horrific act of racial violence that is caught on video and goes viral.
Wednesday, October 8 - MPAC presents An Evening with Amy Grant: Songs/Stories/Memories. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Six-time GRAMMY® Award and 26-time GMA Dove Award winner Amy Grant comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 8, 2025 at 7:30pm. Friday, October 10 - Morristown Festival of Books Announces Rick Atkinson as 2025 Keynote Speaker. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Morristown Festival of Books will welcome two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and master historian Rick Atkinson as the festival's 2025 Keynote Speaker. American Repertory Ballet opens season with "Giselle". (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- American Repertory Ballet (ARB) opens its 2025/26 season at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) with the return of Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg's acclaimed adaptation of the classic ballet Giselle.
