Our monthly music showcase presents an exciting evening of original music and storytelling from four dynamic singer-songwriters: Stu Coogan, Leah Kremer, Michael Baine and Mark Healey.

The showcase brings together a diverse lineup of performers, each with their own unique style and voice:

STU COOGAN

Best known as the evening host (7–11 p.m.) on Brookdale Public Radio, 90.5 The Night, Stu Coogan is celebrating over a decade behind the mic. After 22 years in communications, he reinvented his career through music and radio, becoming a familiar voice for listeners across the region. A lifelong music lover and self-taught guitarist, Stu blends his passion for the blues with his eclectic taste, bringing the same energy and warmth from the airwaves to the stage.

LEAH KREMER

Born in the former USSR’s Tadzhik Republic, Leah Kremer was immersed in diverse musical and cultural traditions from an early age. An artist and teacher of Sacred Dance, Leah views music as a healing force and a form of “natural medicine.” Writing and performing in both English and Russian, her music blends mystical lyrics with global influences, delivering a message of inspiration and high vibration.

MICHAEL BAINE

Originally from Harrisburg, PA and now a longtime New Jersey resident, Michael Baine put music on hold to focus on family, business, and coaching soccer. Recently, he has returned to songwriting with a passion, releasing his debut album The Cloud, now streaming on all platforms. He also performs with his acoustic band Easily Distracted at venues across the Jersey Shore. With heartfelt lyrics and a renewed creative energy, Michael is excited to share both new and familiar songs with audiences.
