George Street Playhouse presents "Good Witch Bad Witch" on Thursday

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse presents Good Witch Bad Witch on Thursday, June 25, 2026 with performances at 3:00pm & 7:30pm. Gravity-defying vocal acrobatics from Broadway's former Glinda and Elphaba as they sing hit songs of the stage.





 




"The Vienna Lessons" Imagines Beethoven and Mozart Working Together

The New Jersey Repertory Company is previewing a new play with a unique slant to it. The Vienna Lessons is set in 1787 and 1797 Vienna. It is an imagined play about what might have happened if Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig Van Beethoven had met and spent time together. The play, written by Jack Canfora, is directed by Evan Bergman. It incorporates original music written by Jeremiah Bornfield. It also features some of the great works of each of the composers.




Princeton Summer Theater presents "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Summer Theater's 2026 Children's Show is You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which runs weekends from June 20 to August 1, 2026. A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.




PHOTOS from "Guys & Dolls" at Surflight Theatre

(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre is presenting what is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, Guys & Dolls, now through July 5, 2026. It ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. It received nearly unanimous positive reviews from critics and won a bevy of awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desks and Oliviers. Emily Mann's Career Was Celebrated At McCarter's Annual Gala

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On June 12, 2026, McCarter Theatre Center concluded its 2025–2026 Season with a memorable Gala honoring Emily Mann, who served as McCarter's Artistic Director and Resident Playwright for 30 years, and presenting her with the inaugural Roger S. Berlind Award.

"Slanted Floors" returns to its Greenpoint Apartment

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Following critical acclaim and sold-out performances, Slanted Floors — hailed by the Daily Beast as "one of New York's most unique and exclusive pieces of theatre" — returns for a strictly limited five-week engagement in its original Greenpoint apartment setting. Performances will run May 26 through June 26, 2026, with 150 seats available.




Arden Theatre Company presents "Dear Evan Hansen"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, to the F. Otto Haas Stage this spring. Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production is directed by Terrence J. Nolen and co-conceived by Jorge Cousineau and Nolen. Performances begin May 21, the show opens May 27, and runs through July 5, 2026.




Paper Mill Playhouse presents "West Side Story"

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents West Side Story, the final production of Paper Mill's 2025-2026 season, from May 28 through June 28, 2026. An enduring masterpiece based on a conception of Jerome Robbins, West Side Story reimagines Romeo and Juliet in 1950s New York, where young lovers Tony and Maria dare to dream of a future together as rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks clash for control of the streets.




Cape May Stage presents "What the Constitution Means to Me"

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck from June 3-28, 2026. Fifteen-year-old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning constitutional debate competitions across the country. In this electrifying and deeply personal play, she revisits that teenage self to explore how the U.S. Constitution has shaped her life — and how it continues to shape all of ours.




Two River Theater and Deaf West Theatre Announce Taylor Iman Jones to Star in new musical "Elephant Shoes" alongside Daniel Durant and James Olivas

State Theatre New Jersey presents Monty Python's Spamalot

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents the national tour of the Tony Award®-winning musical comedy, Monty Python's Spamalot, for four performances from June 27-28, 2026. First seen on Broadway in 2005, the original Broadway production was nominated for 14 Tony® Awards and won three, including Best Musical.
