Kean Stage to Host Internationally Celebrated Dedication with Roger Peltzman in recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day

(UNION, NJ) -- In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and in partnership with Kean University's Holocaust Education & Resource Center, Kean Stage will present Dedication with Roger Peltzman on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Wilkins Theatre. The event begins at 3:00pm.





 




The Growing Stage presents a modern take on a classic story with "Cinderella: A Salsa Fairy Tale"

(NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey presents Cinderella: A Salsa Fairy Tale. With a book and lyrics by Karen Zacarías (Ella Enchanted) and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus), this vibrant production runs weekends from February 6–15, 2026. The play poses the question: What will happen to Cinderella at the ball... game?




Rialto Spotlight Series Continues with Westfield Native Playwright Marc Acito

(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The Rialto Center for Creativity's Spotlight Series continues into 2026 with an event that brings playwright, novelist, and humorist Marc Acito back to his hometown to discuss his decades-long creative career, which spans Broadway, The New York Times, NPR, and more. The event will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the Rialto Center for Creativity. It begins at 7:00pm.

(NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre presents Harvey by Mary Chase weekends from February 13-28, 2026. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play is one of the longest-running comedies in Broadway and West End history, capturing the magic of amiable Elwood P. Dowd's friendship with his best friend, a tall white rabbit which only he can see.

George Street Playhouse presents "What Became of Us" by Shayan Lofti

The National Tour of Chicago, the Musical comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center This Weekend

"The Phil Collins Story" comes to MPAC

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- From the team that brought you the smash hit tour The Simon & Garfunkel Story comes The Phil Collins Story. It chronicles his remarkable chart-topping time with Genesis to his multi-Grammy winning solo career to his Academy Award-winning work for Disney. The tour comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 7:30pm.




George Street Playhouse presents limited runs of "My First Ex-Husband" and "True Tales of Sex, Success and the City" for February

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse has announced additional programming for February 2026, including My First Ex-Husband, written & performed by Joy Behar ("The View"), and True Tales of Sex, Success and the City, written and performed by Candace Bushnell ("Sex and the City").

    (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This winter, Arden Children's Theatre invites families to journey across time and space with an exciting adaptation of Madeline L'Engle's beloved book, A Wrinkle in Time. Adapted by John Glore, winner of the Newbery Medal, A Wrinkle in Time has inspired generations of readers, and even a major motion picture, since its publication. Now, the Arden brings this timeless classic to its stage for the first time. The production runs from December 3 through January 25, 2026.



    (NEW YORK, NY) -- Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) presents the Broadway premiere of Bug, written by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts (August: Osage County, The Minutes) and directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer (Prayer for the French Republic at MTC, The Band's Visit). The production begins performances on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Opening night is Thursday, January 8, 2026.



    (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents Company by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth weekends from January 9 to February 1, 2026. The musical asks the question: what does it mean to be alive, alone, and in love in the city that never sleeps?
