Lantern Theater Company presents Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Lantern Theater Company continues its 2025/26 season with a remount of its original adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, commissioned and developed through the Lantern's New Play Program and co-created by Philadelphia theater artists Anthony Lawton, Christopher Colucci, and Thom Weaver. The production runs from December 13-28, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Theater in Center City Philadelphia.





 




Jersey Arts TV: McCarter Celebrates Annual Holiday Tradition: Presenting 'A Christmas Carol'

'Tis the season to keep Christmas in our heart and try to keep it all the year! "A Christmas Carol" has been a staple of McCarter since 1980, celebrating community and the holiday season. Appealing to audiences of all ages, many folks return year after year after year to experience the magic and create their own holiday traditions.




Surflight Theatre presents "Elf, The Musical"

(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- The ever popular holiday production of Elf The Musical, back for the first time since 2018, opened at Surflight Theatre on November 29th and runs through December 21, 2025. Elf The Musical is based on a motion picture of the same name with a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin. The book is adapted by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan from the 2003 film.




The Ma'ayanot H.S. Drama Society & Black Box Studios presents "Fiddler On The Roof"

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School Drama Society, in ongoing partnership with Black Box Studios, presents three performances of Fiddler On The Roof from December 27-30, 2025 at Ma'ayanot Performing Arts Center. Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, this musical is the brainchild of Broadway legends, Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince; songwriters, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick; and bookwriter, Joseph Stein. Touching audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty, this universal show is a staple of the musical theatre canon.




American Theater Group to present "It's A Wonderful Life: From Screen to Stage" post show talkback

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) will present a talkback following the Sunday, December 14, 2025 matinee performance of Joe Landry's It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at the DMK Black Box Theater at the Union Arts Center in Union. The matinee takes place at 2:00pm.

Heidi Schreck's "What the Constitution Means to Me" is Coming to Morristown

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions is excited to announce a special, limited-engagement run of Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me, coming to Morristown in early 2026. The play will run for five performances only, weekends from January 31 to February 8, 2026 at the Stage at Fellowship Hall in Morristown.




American Theater Group and UCPAC's Play Reading Series present "The Unwitting Magician"

Running October 30 through December 14, 2025 on the Arcadia Stage, the 90-minute reimagining of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s final night, invites audiences into a deeply intimate and human portrait of one of the most iconic leaders of the 20th century.



    (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Quintessence Theatre continues its 16th season with The Pirates of Penzance, the beloved comic opera by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, from November 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Directed by Quintessence Artistic Director Alex Burns, the resplendent and hilarious story follows a band of pirates who go to battle with the British bobbies over the hearts of a bevy of beautiful Cornish maidens, with only a Major- General and Queen Victoria to stand in their way.



    (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents the World Premiere of Let's Catch Santa from November 19 through December 28, 2025. This is a new holiday play by Dan McCormick that combines magic, humor, hope and the Christmas spirit. The production is directed by Roy Steinberg.



    (NEW YORK, NY) -- SoHo Playhouse presents the U.S. premiere of What If They Ate The Baby?, written, directed and performed by the playhouse's artists in residence, Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland, running Off-Broadway November 19 - December 22, 2025 for 25 performances in a limited 5-week engagement.



    (WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ) -- The Road Company presents A Christmas Carol: The Musical weekends from November 20 through December 6, 2025. The classic tale by Charles Dickens comes alive with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent.
