In this show, Lillias pulls back the show curtain to tell humorous, poignant and inspiring stories from both her personal and show business life that she has never shared before, onstage or off.





 




Springboard to Design Announces 2026 Cohort

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Springboard to Design has announced the students selected for its 2026 cohort after attracting more than 4,500 applications from 70 countries and territories — reflecting the rapidly growing global interest in theatre design education. The program will take place July 19–25, 2026 at The Harvey Fierstein Theatre Lab housed in The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (NYC).




County College of Morris presents "Yankee Doodle Dandy"

(RANDOLPH, NJ) -- As the nation commemorates the Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, County College of Morris (CCM) invites theatergoers to be entertained and experience the life of American composer, playwright, actor, producer and showman George M. Cohan, in the high-energy musical Yankee Doodle Dandy. Presented by the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies, performances will take place on Wednesday through Saturday, April 15–18, 2026 at 7:30pm in Dragonetti Auditorium.

Country Gate Players presents "The Miracle Worker"

(BELVIDERE, NJ) -- Country Gate Players presents The Miracle Worker by William Gibson across two weekends from April 18-26, 2026. A child trapped in silence. A family desperate for hope. This play tells the powerful true story of Helen Keller and the determined teacher who broke through the darkness to reach her.

Faith and Frosting Collide in "The Cake" at Bergen County Players

(ORADELL, NJ) -- Enjoy a touching and topical dramedy as love clashes with conscience in Bergen County Players' (BCP) production of The Cake. The play, written by Bekah Brunstetter, producer/writer for the hit TV series This Is Us, is directed by Carol Fisher of Teaneck. It opens March 14 and runs through April 11, 2026 at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell.




Arden Theatre Company presents a Bold New Take on "Romeo and Juliet"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia-based Arden Theatre Company presents Romeo and Juliet from March 5 through April 5, 2026 on the F. Otto Haas Stage. Directed by Barrymore Award–winning director Amina Robinson, the production offers a bold and resonant vision of Shakespeare's iconic work. This reimagined work breathes new life into a story that confronts cycles of violence, power, and lost innocence, blending contemporary perspectives with classic Shakespearean elements.




Dover Little Theatre presents "Much Ado About Nothing"

(DOVER, NJ) -- Dover Little Theatre presents Much Ado About Nothing across three weekends from March 20 to April 4, 2026. This a comedy by William Shakespeare, revolves around two romantic pairings that emerge when a group of soldiers arrive in the town. The production is directed by Julieta Quinteras Amat.




October Ensemble presents the World Premiere of "Oh Sh*t, Sherlock!"

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- October Ensemble presents the World Premiere of Oh Sh*t, Sherlock! weekends from March 20 to April 12, 2026 at The Jersey Shore Arts Center. The actor playing Sherlock has never seen the script. Hilarity ensues as the rest of the cast tries to keep the mystery on track!




Megan Thee Stallion to make her Broadway debut in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical"

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Producers of the Tony Award®-winning, record-breaking Broadway hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical have announced that three-time Grammy Award-winning superstar and actress Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in the production as "Zidler", impresario of the titular nightclub. Taking the stage for a strictly limited 8-week engagement, Megan will light up the Al Hirshfeld Theatre from Tuesday, March 24th to Sunday, May 17, 2026, promising an unmissable, moment in the show's legendary run.

'What Became of Us' is a Heartwarming Story Told in a Unique Way

Family dynamics shape and mold us. The opportunity to examine them is often a subject of conversation. What Became of Us, now playing at George Street Playhouse, is about that very topic. Many moments in the show are heartwarming. However, there are also less comfortable times that are examined. What sets this play aside from a usual siblings tell all tale is the way it is presented. This production is sparse on stage props and active scenes but long on emotional moments that define a brother and sister.

CDC Theatre to Close Out Season with "Fiddler On The Roof"

(CRANFORD, NJ) — The final production of the 107th season at CDC Theatre in Cranford is the wonderful musical Fiddler On The Roof. The multi-award-winning tale of Tevye the Dairyman and his family's struggles in a changing Russia is a true musical theatre "tradition." Performances run weekends from May 1-17, 2026.




Crossroads Theatre Company presents "Sizwe Banzi Is Dead"
