First-time playwright Erik Kahn has managed to showcase the beauty of overcoming one's circumstances. Set on August 31st, 1939, his play "Canned Goods" details the little-known false flag operation that preceded the start of the Second World War. Three men were code-named "Canned Goods" by Himmler and were used by the SS to justify Hitler’s invasion of Poland.

(POMPTON LAKES, NJ) -- StageWorks Theatre Group presents Violet across two weekends (May 9-12 and May 16-19, 2024). It is based on "The Ugliest Pilgrim" by Doris Betts. As a girl, Violet was struck by a wayward axe blade when her father was chopping wood, leaving her with a visible scar across her face. With enough money finally saved she's traveling across the Deep South in 1964 towards a miracle – the healing touch of a TV evangelist who will make her beautiful.
