(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for My Lord, What a Night written by Deborah Brevoort (Blue Moon Over Memphis) and directed by Sheldon Epps (Play On!). It's about a remarkable friendship and a night in New Jersey that changed history. Performances run from April 28 through May 17, 2026.

'What Became of Us' is a Heartwarming Story Told in a Unique Way

Family dynamics shape and mold us. The opportunity to examine them is often a subject of conversation. What Became of Us, now playing at George Street Playhouse, is about that very topic. Many moments in the show are heartwarming. However, there are also less comfortable times that are examined. What sets this play aside from a usual siblings tell all tale is the way it is presented. This production is sparse on stage props and active scenes but long on emotional moments that define a brother and sister.

The multi-award-winning tale of Tevye the Dairyman and his family's struggles in a changing Russia is a true musical theatre "tradition." Performances run weekends from May 1-17, 2026.

Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey to present "The Gifts of the Magi" in December

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) will present its 2026 holiday production, The Gifts of the Magi from December 5-31 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre in Madison. A heartwarming musical adaptation of the beloved stories by O. Henry, this enchanting production celebrates the spirit of generosity, devotion, and the true meaning of the season.



Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater & Music Theater presents "The Comeuppance" by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater and Music Theater at Princeton University presents The Comeuppance by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright and Princeton alumnus Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Class of 2006. Performances take place April 3-4 and April 10 at 8:00pm and April 11 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm at the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center.
