Full Circle Magic: Tara and Austin Jarboe Return to Roxey Ballet's Nutcracker for the 30th Anniversary Season

(EWING, NJ) -- This holiday season, Roxey Ballet celebrates the magic of The Nutcracker—and the real-life love story that blossomed within its cast. As the company marks its 30th Anniversary production, longtime Roxey Ballet family members Tara and Austin Jarboe return to the stage as Mother and Father Stahlbaum, the beloved hosts of the ballet's opening party scene.




 

Calpulli Mexican Dance Company presents "Día de Muertos" at Grunin Center for the Arts

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Experience a magical celebration of life and remembrance when the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company presents "D?a de Muertos" at the Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 7:00pm. Using both folk and classical music and dance, they explore a love story that spans the boundary between the living and the departed.



American Repertory Ballet opens season with "Giselle"

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- American Repertory Ballet (ARB) opens its 2025/26 season at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) with the return of Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg's acclaimed adaptation of the classic ballet Giselle. Presented Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12, 2025, Giselle tells the story of a young woman who dies of a broken heart—only to confront, and eventually forgive, her beloved from beyond the grave.



Step Into the Shadows at Roxey Ballet's Dracula's Lair Haunted House

(NEW HOPE, PA) -- This October, dare to enter the darkness of Dracula's Lair Haunted House, presented by Roxey Ballet and sponsored by the VAMPA Museum. Audiences are invited to wander through chilling vignettes, eerie dances, and spine-tingling encounters that bring Dracula's world to life like never before.



McCarter Theatre Center presents Camille A. Brown & Dancers in "I AM"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Center opens its fall presenting season on Friday, September 26, 2025, with Camille A. Brown & Dancers performing I AM. A five-time Tony Award nominee, Brown has redefined boundaries across dance, opera, and Broadway, bringing African American culture to the forefront with brilliance, depth, and joy. Her artistry has been showcased in productions such as Gypsy starring Audra McDonald, Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen, Terence Blanchard's Fire Shut Up in My Bones, and PBS’ Giant Steps.
