(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse celebrates our nation's 250th anniversary, and history comes to life in 1776, the Tony Award-winning musical that brings the story behind the creation of the Declaration of Independence to the stage with witty satire, compelling drama, and a thrilling score. Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents a Reading of "The Agitators" by Mat Smart

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) has announced the cast for its upcoming presentation of The Agitators by Mat Smart, presented as part of the theatre's Revolutionary Voices play reading series. The performance will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre on the campus of Drew University. Showtime is 7:30pm.



George Street Playhouse presents "My Lord, What a Night" by Deborah Brevoort

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for My Lord, What a Night written by Deborah Brevoort (Blue Moon Over Memphis) and directed by Sheldon Epps (Play On!). It's about a remarkable friendship and a night in New Jersey that changed history. Performances run from April 28 through May 17, 2026.

'What Became of Us' is a Heartwarming Story Told in a Unique Way

Family dynamics shape and mold us. The opportunity to examine them is often a subject of conversation. What Became of Us, now playing at George Street Playhouse, is about that very topic. Many moments in the show are heartwarming. However, there are also less comfortable times that are examined. What sets this play aside from a usual siblings tell all tale is the way it is presented. This production is sparse on stage props and active scenes but long on emotional moments that define a brother and sister.

(CRANFORD, NJ) — The final production of the 107th season at CDC Theatre in Cranford is the wonderful musical Fiddler On The Roof. The multi-award-winning tale of Tevye the Dairyman and his family's struggles in a changing Russia is a true musical theatre "tradition." Performances run weekends from May 1-17, 2026.



Crossroads Theatre Company presents "Sizwe Banzi Is Dead"

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Crossroads Theatre Company presents Sizwe Bansi Is Dead from May 19 - June 14, 2026 at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.
