(NEW HOPE, PA) -- With a heatwave that swept through the region, the temperature soared even higher with the bold visual stimuli at New Hope Arts Center with the launch of the "Structures and Constructions in Fiber" exhibition on June 29, 2024. The opening night captivated artists, art collectors, and patrons alike, as the reimagined art form was celebrated. The juried exhibit features over 80 original, contemporary fiber artworks from more than 30 artists across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The exhibit is on view through August 18, 2024.

Art House Gallery Presents Jersey City Pride Exhibition: "Crushed" by Beth Achenbach

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions presents "Crushed," a solo exhibit by photographer Beth Achenbach in partnership with JC Pride. The exhibit will run from Saturday, August 3rd through Sunday, August 25th, with an opening reception on Saturday, August 3rd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. This is an official Jersey City PRIDE event.

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Akwaaba Gallery in Newark presents "Currency of Resilience: Exploring Immigrant Narratives," an exhibition of four Caribbean American artists whose work reflects their cultural roots and how they employ art to navigate the intersection of power and identity in America. The exhibition will be on view from July 13 through August 31, 2024.

Grounds For Sculpture presents Slow Motion, Guest Curated by Monument Lab

(HAMILTON, NJ) -- This spring, Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) presents Slow Motion, an exhibition guest curated by Monument Lab that expands the boundaries of contemporary sculpture through the use of unconventional materials and processes. Founded in 2012, Monument Lab is a nonprofit public art and history studio based in Philadelphia, which cultivates and facilitates critical conversations around the past, present, and future of monuments. Traditional approaches to monument-making emphasize durability, solidity, and myths of enduring permanence; however, Slow Motion, which will be on view from May 5, 2024 through September 1, 2025, will embrace the pleasures and possibilities of material transience.

Artist James Feehan's Magical Paintings Come to The Gallery at Bex

(CALIFON, NJ) -- The Gallery at Bex, a casual yet elegant art gallery in the heart of historic Hunterdon County, is pleased to host the art of renowned artist James Feehan at an art opening on Thursday, July 11th. The exhibition runs through September 1, 2024.
