(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Alfa Art Gallery presents the Summer 2025 NBAS Oil, Sculpture and Mixed Media Exhibition, The Mundane in Motion. This is a dynamic group exhibition that transforms everyday gestures into expressive visual language through painting and sculpture. The collection offers a glimpse into the emotional resonance of daily life, highlighting how color, texture, and movement can elevate the ordinary into moments of quiet reflection. The exhibition is free and open from August 26, 2025, until October 18, 2025.

The exhibition serves as a meditation on presence, memory, and the subtle rhythms that shape our lived experience, inviting viewers into a visual dialogue between stillness and transformation.  From abstract expressions to detailed figurative works, each piece underscores the emotional resonance embedded in familiar spaces and routine moments. "The Mundane in Motion" encourages audiences to pause and observe how delicate shifts in color, texture, and form evoke powerful memories and meanings, transforming ordinary experiences into remarkable artistic statements.

Expressions of relationships, natural landscapes, and transient moments create a visual conversation that fluctuates between bold statements and subtle introspections, exploring art's ability to both reflect and influence life's most significant declarations and its quietest truths.

This exhibition showcases an array of expressive works by artists who merge daily experiences, landscapes, and personal narratives into meaningful conversations. Intimate figurative paintings capture human connections through soft brushwork and warm color schemes, complemented by vivid landscapes bursting with expressive hues. Sculptures enrich the gallery space with their organic presence, highlighting nature’s quiet elegance and urban complexity. Together, these diverse artistic approaches create a multi-layered visual narrative, both deeply personal and inherently poetic.

Featured Artists include: Abbey Rosko, Angie Redmond, Barbara Morcerf, Chanelle René, D'nae Harrison, Jonathan Yubi, Joy Kreves, Karen Goldberg, Lynda Charles, Manuel Monge, Rena Segal, Sarah Yuster, Shara E Bailey, Zach Mellman-Carsey.
