Tuesday, March 5 - The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Mike Zito. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Gulf Coast Records multi-Blues Music Award-winner Mike Zito is set to release his new album, Life Is Hard, on February 23, with a tour to follow in March. The Life is Hard tour stops in Tuckerton, where the Mike Zito Band will be playing at Lizzie Rose Music Room on Tuesday, March 5 (with Regina Bonelli) and Wednesday, March 6 (with Bees Deluxe). Both shows begin at 7:30pm.

Thursday, March 7 - MPAC presents Spyro Gyra's 50th Anniversary with special guest Jeff Lorber Fusion. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Two legendary modern jazz bands will perform at the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Thursday, March 7, 2024 - Spyro Gyra and Jeff Lorber Fusion. It's a double bill of contemporary jazz legends! Tickets range from $39-$79. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Friday, March 8 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Selwyn Birchwood. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Award-winning Florida bluesman Selwyn Birchwood will perform live at the Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton on Friday, March 8, 2024. Birchwood is touring in support of Exorcist, his fourth release on Alligator Records. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Sunday, March 10 - Woodbridge Township presents Screaming Orphans at The Avenel Performing Arts Center. (AVENEL, NJ) -- Woodbridge Township presents Screaming Orphans at The Avenel Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 10, 2024. They are known worldwide for their award-winning sound combining original pop songs with a unique take on traditional Irish music. Showtime is 7:00pm.



Wednesday, March 6 - TCNJ's Center for the Arts presents Las Cafeteras. (EWING, NJ) -- The College of New Jersey's Center for the Arts presents Las Cafeteras on Wednesday, March 6 at 8:00pm in the Kendall Main Stage Theater. The LA Times describes Las Cafeteras as "uniquely Angeleno mishmash of punk, hip-hop, beat music, cumbia and rock... live, they/re magnetic."

Thursday, March 7 - Renowned Jazz Bassist Rufus Reid and The Discovery Orchestra's George Marriner Maull to be honored at the 2024 Wharton Arts Gala. (BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ) -- On Thursday, March 7, 2024, Wharton Arts will honor award-winning jazz bassist, educator, and composer Rufus Reid with its Lifetime Achievement Award and will honor George Marriner Maull with its Education Award at their 2024 Gala.

Thursday, March 7 - The Levoy Theatre presents Taylor Dayne. (MILLVILLE, NJ) -- The Levoy Theatre presents American pop icon, Taylor Dayne, on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Tickets range from $58-$78. Doors are at 6:30pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

Thursday, March 7 - PSO Soundtracks Talk: A Celebration of Bulgaria with Maestro Rossen Milanov and Soprano Mariana Karpatova. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO)'s Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov joins mezzo-soprano Mariana Karpatova in an exploration of the songs, dances, and culture of their native Bulgaria at a very special PSO Soundtracks talk: A Celebration of Bulgaria. Their presentation takes place on Thursday, March 7 at 7:00pm, at the Princeton Public Library in the library's Community Room. Immediately following, there will be time for a brief Q&A. The talk serves as a prelude to the orchestra's March 9-10 concerts which includes a work by Bulgarian composer Marin Goleminov. Soundtracks is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.

Thursday, March 7 - Ember Choral Arts to Hold Auditions for May Concert featuring New Works by Emerging Composers. (MANHATTAN, NY) -- Ember Choral Arts, renowned for its dedication to excellence in performing choral music of living composers, will hold announce auditions for its upcoming May concerts on Thursday evening, March 7, 2024 at the Opera America building, near Penn Station. Auditions take place between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

Friday, March 8 - Jazz Bassist Jair-Rohm Parker Wells to Perform Concert at Perkins Center for the Arts. (MOORESTOWN, NJ) -- Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown presents a concert with celebrated jazz bassist Jair-Rohm Parker Wells on Friday, March 8, 2024. Note: this concert was rescheduled from July 2023.

Friday, March 8 - Newton Theatre presents The Machine performs Pink Floyd. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents The Machine performs Pink Floyd on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 8:00pm. The Machine has forged a 30+ year reputation of extending the musical legacy of Pink Floyd. The New York-based quartet performs a diverse mix of The Floyd's extensive 16-album repertoire, complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems.

Saturday, March 9 - NJPAC presents Kristin Chenoweth in Concert. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) welcomes Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth to Newark on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 8:00pm.

Saturday, March 9 - The Sherman Theater presents Dogs In A Pile. (STROUDSBURG, PA) -- Jam band Dogs In A Pile is headed to the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday, March 9, 2024 with special guests The Tribe and Mosey Beat. The sandy shores of Asbury Park, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, March 9 - Music in the Somerset Hills presents a concert at the Community of St. John Baptist. (MENDHAM, NJ) -- Music in the Somerset Hills will present an intimate concert featuring Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 7:00pm. The performance, starring NYC-based early music ensemble TENET Vocal Artists, will take place in the French Eclectic-style chapel at the Community of St. John Baptist in Mendham.

Sunday, March 10 - NJPAC presents John Mellencamp. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Fresh off the heels of his sold-out "Live and In Person 2023" North American tour, John Mellencamp confirms its continuation with "Live and In Person 2024." Presented by longtime promoter AEG Presents, the tour will begin in Rochester, NY on March 8 and conclude in Savannah, GA on April 23. The tour comes to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 8:00pm.

Sunday, March 10 - Porno For Pyros Announces Final Tour, ending at Wellmont Theater. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Los Angeles Alternative Rock outfit, Porno For Pyros, announced they will embark on their farewell tour in 2024. After a 26 year touring hiatus, Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, and Peter DiStefano kick off the 15-city tour, produced by Live Nation, on February 13 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA making stops across North America in Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Toronto, ON; Boston, MA; New York, NY and more before wrapping up in Montclair, NJ at The Wellmont Theater on March 10, 2024.

Sunday, March 10 - Newton Theatre presents The Australian Bee Gees Show. (NEWTON, NJ) -- It's Saturday Night Fever every night with The Australian Bee Gees Show – A Tribute to the Bee Gees. See for yourself when the band comes to The Newton Theatre on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Sunday, March 10 - The North Jersey Blues Society present Bees Deluxe at the Montclair Brewery. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Celebrating the release of their new album "Hallucinate," packed between the bass drum and the guitar amp in their ancient van, Bees Deluxe, Boston's most exciting blues band is hitting the road for a whirlwind mini-tour to not only promote the new recording, but to share the unique sound they call "acid blues." Sunday, March 10 - Danú Takes Audience to Ireland on March 10th. (GALLOWAY, NJ) -- Danú, one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles from historic County Waterford, will be on Stockton University's Performing Arts Center main stage performing their biggest hits on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00pm. The group's standing-room-only concerts throughout Ireland are true events featuring high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire.

Sunday, March 10 - The North Jersey Blues Society Presents Blues & Brews featuring Bees Deluxe. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- This month’s North Jersey Blues Society's Blues & Brews event features Bees Deluxe on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Montclair Brewery. Bees Deluxe, a British/American blues band, have played with Ronnie Earl, Mike Zito, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Matt Schofield, Roomful of Blues, Walter Trout and David Maxwell and more. Showtime is 4:30pm.

George Street Playhouse presents the World Premiere of "The Club". (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Everyone wants to belong to the club, but what will it cost you? That's the question in The Club by Chris Bohjalian, which is being presented by George Street Playhouse from February 27 to March 17, 2024. The Club is rich with biting wit and startling twists as it explores racism, marriage, and the lies we tell ourselves daily. And though the play is set in 1968, it's eerily timely. MAC Players at the Middletown Arts Center presents "Jesus Christ Superstar". (MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The MAC Players at the Middletown Arts Center presents the timeless, rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar over two weekends, March 1–3 and March 8–10, 2024. The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 50 years!

"The Life and Music of George Michael" comes to bergenPAC. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- From the producers of the highly acclaimed "The Simon & Garfunkel Story," comes a new concert-style show that chronicles the amazing journey George Michael had with music and his fans. "The Life and Music of George Michael" captures the performance and sound of one of the biggest international stars of our time--with concert style staging and lighting--from his early hits with Wham! and his illustrious solo career. The show comes to Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 8:00pm.

McCarter Theatre presents "Dreamgirls". (PRINCETON, NJ) -- This March, the McCarter Theatre Center, in a partnership with Goodspeed Musicals, presents the revival of the Tony® and Grammy® award-winning musical, Dreamgirls. Coming to Princeton after an acclaimed and blockbuster run in Connecticut, the production features talent that has illuminated stages from Broadway to national tours and graced airwaves on platforms like American Idol. Dreamgirls will take place at McCarter's Matthews Theatre from March 6-24, 2024.

Graham Phillips and Talia Suskauer lead cast of "Sunday in the Park with George" at Axelrod PAC. (OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Axelrod Performing Arts Center, in collaboration with Grind Arts Company, presents a bold new production of Stephen Sondheim's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Sunday in the Park with George from March 8-24, 2024. The show is directed and choreographed by Eamon Foley (Broadway's Gypsy, Assassins, 13: The Musical) and starring TV and film star Graham Phillips (CBS's The Good Wife, CW's Riverdale) and Broadway's Talia Suskauer (Wicked's Elphaba). Music director Nate Patten (Broadway's Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, School of Rock) will conduct the 11-piece orchestra.

The Growing Stage presents NJ Premiere of "Arthur(tm) & Friends Make A Musical!". (NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey presents the New Jersey premiere of Arthur™ & Friends Make a Musical! This production,based on the Arthur™ book series created by Marc Brown and adapted for the stage with Book & Lyrics by John Maclay and Music & Lyrics by Brett Ryback, runs weekends from March 8-24, 2024 at the Historic Palace Theatre.



Luna Stage presents the World Premiere of "RIFT or White Lies". (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage presents the World Premiere of RIFT or White Lies by Gabriel Jason Dean, directed by Ari Laura Kreith, from February 8 to March 10, 2024. Two brothers--one a progressive novelist, the other a convicted murderer and high-ranking member of a white supremacist prison gang–are united through their traumatic childhood. Now adults, these men navigate the edges of their brotherly bond. Are they truly so different? Is it possible to love someone whose beliefs you hate? RIFT is a story of estrangement, ideological divide, and the fight to change one another.

The Summit Playhouse presents "Agnes of God". (SUMMIT, NJ) -- The Summit Playhouse presents Agnes of God by John Pielmeier. The production runs during the weekends from February 23- through March 9, 2024, at The Summit Playhouse. Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, must assess the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "Fun Home". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents the musical, Fun Home, weekends from February 23 through March 10, 2024. Fun Home, based on the autobiographical graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, has a book with lyrics by Lisa Iron and music by Jeannie Tesori. This is the third mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season.

NJRep presents the World Premiere of "ESSPY". (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep) will kick off its 27th season with the world premiere of Nandia Shenoy's ESSPY, directed by Peter J. Kuo, beginning February 22, with its opening night on February 24 and running through March 17, 2024. ESSPY is a comic-drama about a young medical student embarking on a journey he never expected.

Luna Stage extends "RIFT or White Lies" through March 10th. (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage will extend its critically-acclaimed production of RIFT or White Lies through March 10. Originally slated to close March 3, this Luna-commissioned Rolling World Premiere by Gabriel Jason Dean has played to sold-out houses and enthusiastic audience response. Chatham Players presents "The Beauty Queen of Leenane". (CHATHAM, NJ) -- The Chatham Community Players presents the gloriously funny; wickedly amusing play, The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh from March 1-16, 2024 at The Chatham Playhouse. Set in the mountains of Connemara, County Galway, this play tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative aging mother, whose interference in Maureen’s first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship sets in motion a train of events that leads inexorably towards the play’s terrifying dénouement.

Regional Premiere of "Rabbit Summer" at Mile Square Theatre. (HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Mile Square Theatre proudly announces the regional premiere of Rabbit Summer, a play written and directed by multi-hyphenate performer, playwright and director, Tracey Conyer Lee. This production marks a historic moment as the first time the playwright will direct her own work. Starring Steven St. Pierre as Wilson, Tsebiyah Mishael Derry as Claire, and Ricky Lyne'e as Ruby, Rabbit Summer is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged production. Performances run from March 6-30, 2024.

Tony Award-Nominee Kate Baldwin to star in American Theater Group's "A Little Night Music". (BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Broadway's Kate Baldwin will star as Desiree in American Theater Group's (ATG) upcoming season premiere of Stephen Sondheim's beloved A Little Night Music. The production will run March 7-10, 2024 at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge and March 14-24, 2024 at Hamilton Stage in Rahway. Baldwin will share the stage with her husband Graham Rowat (Broadway: Dear Evan Hanson, Sunset Boulevard) as Fredrik.

The Artist Collective Troupe presents 3rd Annual "Wish Upon a Song" to Benefit Make-A-Wish New Jersey. (POINT PLEASANT, NJ) -- The Artist Collective Troupe will present its 3rd Annual "Wish Upon a Song," an animated movie musical revue benefitting Make-A-Wish New Jersey, in Point Pleasant on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. Join all your favorite fairytale characters including princes, princesses, heroes, villains, and more for a musical journey that celebrates the power of stories, magic, and belief!

Bergen County Players presents "The Fantasticks". (ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, continues its 92nd season with the longest-running musical classic, The Fantasticks. Full of buoyant humor, charming tunes, and a sprinkle of magic, The Fantasticks has been hailed as "a beautiful, poetic, and highly theatrical tale of the power and depth of love — gained, lost and found again" (Broadway World). Friday, March 8 - Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Lewis Black: Goodbye Yeller Brick Road, The Final Tour. (RED BANK, NJ) -- After 35+ years as a touring stand-up comedian, Lewis Black is parking his tour bus for good next year, marking the end of his legendary world touring career. Lewis brings his Goodbye Yeller Brick Road, The Final Tour to the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Friday, March 8 at 8:00pm.

Saturday, March 9 - Vivid Stage's Improv Team presents "Ancient History". (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage will present its house improv team, The Flip Side, at the Oakes Center on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 8:00pm. The theme of the show will be Ancient History, as the improvisers take the audience on a kooky and irreverent journey through the myths and legends of the distant past.
