Join us for a sophisticated afternoon of music and entertainment!

One of the most celebrated violinists of his generation, concertmaster of New York City Ballet orchestra Arturo Delmoni is joined by an internationally acclaimed composer and pianist Nina Siniakova. Program features beloved hits by classical composers, jazz, and originals by Nina Siniakova.

Nina Siniakova enjoys an international career as a composer and a pianist. She is a musician of a diverse cultural background and broad interests. Her colleagues describe her compositional style as “unique and refined”, that in their option makes Nina Siniakova “one of the most interesting composers of her generation”.

Nina Siniakova actively collaborates with the most prominent ensembles in the US and abroad, including Orchestra 2001, Network for New Music, Bacchanalia Baroque Ensemble NYC.  Her season 2023-2024 includes premiers and performances in the US, Belgium, Netherlands and Eastern Europe.

She is a recipient of numerous national and international awards.

As a pianist and a composer she has appeared at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Carnegie Weill Recital hall, Symphony Space, Zink jazz bar in New York, Harvard University, Beethoven House Bonn, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and money others.

Arturo Delmoni’s remarkably distinctive playing embodies the romantic warmth that was the special province of the great virtuosi of the golden age of violin playing.  Yo-Yo Ma describes Delmoni as “an enormously gifted musician and an impeccable violinist.  His playing style is unique, and his gorgeous sound is reminiscent of that of great violinists from a bygone era.”  Glenn Dicterow, Concertmaster of the NY Philharmonic, says “Delmoni’s playing always goes right to the heart and his charisma is irresistible.”  Delmoni’s stylish, elegant interpretations of classical masterpieces have earned him critical acclaim in the United States and abroad.

Arturo  has appeared with major orchestras across the country, including those of Dallas, St. Louis, Boston, Los Angeles, and with the NYCB Orchestra in New York.  As a chamber musician, Delmoni has performed with illustrious colleagues including Mr. Ma, Pinchas Zukerman, Emanuel Ax, Elmar Oliveira, Nathaniel Rosen, Jon Kimura Parker, Jeffrey Kahane, and Dudley Moore.

Arturo Delmoni’s violin is a J. B. Guadagnini, 1780.

The Afternoon Recital Series is made possible, in part, through the support of the Ocean County College Foundation.
