Saturday, December 14 - The Wag's Christmas Spectacular is Coming to The Strand and Middletown Arts Center. One of our favorite bands here at New Jersey Stage is The Wag. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Micky Dolenz is an actor, singer, director, producer, writer, radio DJ, inventor, and all-around performer extraordinaire, and stands tall as a paragon of taste and accomplishment in the rough-and-tumble world of show business and entertainment. He'll share songs and stories from his career at Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 7:00pm.
Sunday, December 15 - Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Will Mix Holiday Songs with 'All the Hits' at Grunin Center. In 1935, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra recorded "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on the Victor record label. Written by J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie, it had become a hit in 1934 when Eddie Cantor sang it on his radio show. The Dorsey version featured vocals by Cliff Weston and Edythe Wright, and the current Tommy Dorsey Orchestra will perform it at the band's "Sentimental for the Season" holiday show on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts in Toms River, NJ.
Sunday, December 15 - Jersey Arts Podcast: A Rockin' Christmas with Twelve Twenty-Four at the Levoy Theatre. Known for their electrifying renditions of classic holiday music, Twelve Twenty-Four combines the festive spirit with high-energy rock performances that will leave audiences of all ages wanting more. They are the longest running Trans Siberian Orchestra Tribute band having begun in 2002, over twenty years ago!

Thursday, December 12 - RVCC Jazz Band to Perform December 12th. (BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) Jazz Band will perform in concert Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 7:30pm. The performance will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the Branchburg campus. The Jazz Band is directed by RVCC Adjunct Faculty Dr. Oliver Santana, a gifted saxophonist, woodwind doubler, arranger, and educator who has been on the music scene for close to 30 years.

Saturday, December 14 - The Newton Theatre presents Christmas with The Celts. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents Christmas with The Celts on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 8:00pm. The original national PBS show Christmas with The Celts aired on over 200 PBS channels across the U.S., Canada and on the BBC in Ireland for three years. This successful TV show was the initial spark, which created a huge demand for the production bringing them into Performing Arts Centers, Theaters, and large casinos every year.
Saturday, December 14 - Princeton Symphony Orchestra presents A Festive Holiday POPS! with Vocalist Andrea Ross. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is set to celebrate all the joys of the holiday season with Broadway vocalist Andrea Ross at this year's Holiday POPS! concerts on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
