(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Acclaimed singer-songwriter Matthew Curry sets off on his 2026 Spring/Summer "One For The Ride" Tour (named for his new Ruf Records album release) with a performance at Asbury Lanes on Friday, June 26, 2026. Erik Mason Band will open the night. Showtime is 8:00pm.

This past February saw the release of One For The Ride, a dynamic and heartfelt collection that showcases the full range of Matthew Curry's musicianship -- from fiery, virtuostic guitar work to intimate, emotionally rich songwriting. The album explores life on the road, love celebration, personal reflection, and Americana storytelling, all delivered with Curry's signature depth and gritty authenticity.

Born and raised in Bloomington, Illinois, Curry picked up the guitar at age four, was performing live by eight, and leading his own band by eleven. Curry's distinctive blend of blues, rock, southern rock, and old-school country has earned him a devoted audience across the globe. Over the years, Matthew has toured with major icons including the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Journey, Don Felder, with Steve Miller praising Curry as "a wonderful guitar player and great songwriter in the league of Stevie Ray Vaughan."

One For The Ride captures Curry's life on the road, his love for storytelling, and the musical influences that shaped him. The album bursts open with high-energy southern rock flair, drawing inspiration from the raw spirit of bands like ZZ Top and the timeless road-song tradition.Tracks like "Rum Stumblin'" showcase Curry's knack for crafting fun, bluesy, party-driven grooves, while "Born Behind The Wheel" leans into gritty riffs and harmonies rooted in the southern rock Curry grew up listening to.

One For The Ride also reveals Curry's softer, more personal side. "Dancing In The Kitchen" brings warm acoustic charm and was inspired by a spontaneous anniversary moment at home. "Rather Float A River"blends blues, funk, country, and Americana, echoing Curry's love for the outdoors and the soulful ease of life on the water. Rounding out One for The Ride: A fiery take on "Whiskey Rock A Roller," the only cover on the record -- a heartfelt tribute to Curry's admiration for Lynyrd Skynyrd and the classic rock lineage that continues to inspire him.

Tickets: $15 (early bird); $20 (advance); $22 (door).   Tickets are available for purchase online.  Doors at 7:00pm. Erik Mason Band at 8:00pm. Matthew Curry and band at 9:30pm. Asbury Lanes is located at 209 4th Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Opening the night is the Erik Mason Band in full form for a memorable night of soft rock, blues and country music. Featuring new original music, all the classic EMB jams, and some exciting new covers, it's the summer concert you won't want to miss! The band will include Johnny Kasun on guitar, Liam Bornovski on pedal steel and Will Pable on mandolin, among other talented musicians and friends.

Erik Mason is a Jersey Shore-based singer-songwriter and pianist creating music he calls coastal soft rock—a cinematic brand of indie rock with '70s soft rock roots and a hint of pink-sky Americana. Drawing inspiration from timeless musical poets like Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, and Neil Young—then adding a touch of beach town twang—Erik pairs catchy, nostalgic melodies with his unique, expressive brand of storytelling. He is supported on stage by a stellar ensemble of musicians and friends, forming the Erik Mason Band. Together, they perform with a vibrant, uplifting energy that melds mellow rock, '90s radio rock, and country into a sound all its own, likened to a fusion of The Wallflowers, Eric Church, The Fray, and The Allman Brothers Band.
