(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG), in partnership with the Union Arts Center, will present Katerina McCrimmon's acclaimed solo concert, Naked, which has played to sold-out audiences across the country, including at Joe's Pub and Lincoln Center. Directed by Henry Gainza, it will come to the DMK Black Box Theater at the Union Arts Center for one performance only, on Fri.day, June 26, 2026 at 7:00pm.
A Presidential Scholar in the Arts and National Young Arts Winner in Theatre, Miami-born McCrimmon made her Broadway debut in The Rose Tattoo after being discovered by Academy Award-winner Marisa Tomei. She later took center stage as Fanny Brice in the first Broadway National Tour of Funny Girl, starring alongside Grammy Award-winner Melissa Manchester and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer, with Entertainment Weekly naming her “the next greatest star” with a “once-in-a-generation voice."
She recently played the title role in Evita at the MUNY in St. Louis, America’s oldest and largest (11,000 seats) outdoor musical theatre and starred as Joanne in Bigfoot! Off -Broadway at New York City Center. Other select theater roles include The Counterfeit Opera (Little Island), The Light in the Piazza (New York City Center Encores!), Ride the Cyclone (McCarter Theatre Center) and Ah, Wilderness! (Hartford Stage). Her debut jazz album, Kat's Out of the Bag!, can be found on all streaming platforms.
Experience her “once-in-a-generation voice” delivering a thrilling mix of musical theater classics, contemporary hits from Tori Amos to Jessie J and Björk, plus sizzling Cuban salsa nods to her Miami roots—raw, unfiltered, and packed with humor. Surprise guests like Eden Espinoza have joined for unforgettable duets, making every show a buzzworthy event.
Tickets are priced at $40 for cabaret-style floor seating and $30 for general seating and are available for purchase online. The DMK Black Box Theatre is located at 1980 Morris Avenue in Union, New Jersey.
