West Windsor Arts Presents Member Show: Yesterday Today Tomorrow
(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Life revolves around change, the passage of time, and hope. Change is a constant that occurs everywhere and has so throughout time. Perhaps most importantly, time and change result in something new, different, and beautiful, and often with hope for the future. For this exhibition, West Windsor Arts invited their member artists to explore and express the idea of change and the passage of time as they relate to personal experiences or observations in the springtime art exhibition, Yesterday Today Tomorrow. The art is on view at West Windsor Arts during operating hours or by appointment from March 28 to June 3, 2023. The juror was Katie Truk, a NJ-based artist and teaching artist. Awards for Best in Show, Best Use of Medium and Exhibition Committee Choice will be announced at the opening.

Public Invited to Help Create a Public Artwork to Raise Awareness About Flooding Along the Hackensack River
(HACKENSACK, NJ) --Are you concerned about flooding from the Hackensack River? Attend the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation's ArtsBergen initiative's Flood Theater Community Workshop to raise awareness about the devastating effects of flooding along the Hackensack River. Join us to share your flood story and to create a quilt square for a public artwork, Flood Theater. The interactive workshop takes place on Wednesday, March 29 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Oradell Borough Hall on the top floor located at 355 Kinderkamack Rd. in Oradell, New Jersey.

Jazz973 Presents the Benito Gonzalez Trio at Clements Place Jazz with Will Slater and Ari Hoenig

The Newton Theatre presents Spyro Gyra
(NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents Spyro Gyra on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 8:00pm. The multiple Grammy award-winning jazz fusion band has sold over ten million albums worldwide since the 70s. The Jazz giants have led the charge with their breakthrough Morning Dance album. They have had continued success with 29 studio albums, two live albums, and three compilation albums, marking their place in history as one of the world’s great jazz fusion bands.

MPAC presents Kenny Wayne Shepherd
(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Kenny Wayne Shepherd has established himself as an immensely popular recording artist, a consistently in-demand live act and an influential force in a worldwide resurgence of the blues. Shepherd will perform his album Trouble Is as well as other fan favorites when he comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Thursday, March 30 at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $49-$99.

Westminster Choir to perform at Carnegie Hall

From Drama Desk Award nominees Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, The Theory of Relativity is a joyous and moving look about our surprisingly interconnected lives. World Premiere of "Darkness of Light: Confessions of a Russian Traveler" to have limited run in NYC
(NEW YORK, NY) -- Dol Productions and Pivot Productions have announced the world premiere production of Alexander Kaletski's Darkness of Light: Confessions of a Russian Traveler, directed by Michael Mailer (The Minute You Wake Up Dead with Morgan Freeman, Heart of Champions with Michael Shannon, Blind with Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore) in his legit debut. Darkness of Light will play a limited engagement at The 36th Street Theatre (312 W 36th St. 4th floor, New York, NY). Performances begin Thursday, March 30, and continue through Sunday, April 16.

Jon Caspi & The First Gun to Hold Video Viewing Event for "Raise 'Em High!"
This past September, Jon Caspi & The First Gun released a new version of their cult favorite Raise 'Em High! which features NYC rock icon Jesse Malin on lead vocals and the legendary Dez Cadena (ex-Black Flag/Misfits) on guitar. The song spurred a brewery to put out a beer named after it, is at the center of a large "2pm Toast" Facebook group with well over a thousand members, and received airplay across the country.
