Middletown Arts Center Accepting Submissions for The 2026 MAC ONE-ACTS Play Reading Festival

(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center is accepting submissions to The MAC ONE-ACTS Annual Play-Reading Festival featuring original, one-act works by New Jersey playwrights. The submission deadline is Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 11:59pm. 

The Chatham Playhouse presents "The Drowsy Chaperone"

(CHATHAM, NJ) -- The Chatham Community Players presents the musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone weekends from April 17 to May 2, 2026. RVCC to Present Student Theatre Production of "The Wolves"

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe, April 15-17, 2026 at 7:00pm each night The performances, which are free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College's Branchburg campus.





Wilma Theater Announces 2026-27 Season

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia-based, Tony Award-winning theater company Wilma Theater has announced four productions for its 2026-27 season that celebrate the Wilma's contribution to visionary theater locally and nationally. Audiences can expect joyful, challenging, and collaborative work on the Wilma's stage, including the world premiere of an original coming-of-self story, an inventive spin on a children's literary classic, a project exploring the Wilma's first ever production in 1979, and a subversive cabaret blurring the line between parody and poignancy.

George Street Playhouse Awarded NJEDA Grant for "Choose Your Price" Performances of "My Lord, What A Night"

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse (GSP) announced that they are the recipients of a $500,000 grant from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) under Phase II of the Activation, Revitalization, and Transformation (A.R.T.) program. This grant will support an expanded run and "Choose Your Price" performances for GSP's upcoming production of My Lord, What A Night, designed to increase access to professional theater for audiences across New Jersey.

American Theater Group to Honor Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director James Vagias at Gala Benefit

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) will honor its outgoing co-founder and Producing Artistic Director James Vagias at its bi-annual Gala Benefit on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Union Arts Center. Vagias will retire this summer at the end of the 2025-26 Season. A successor will be named shortly.

Centenary Stage Company presents 2026 Women Playwrights Series in April

Passage Theatre Company to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The Larry Hilton Stage on April 8th

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Passage Theatre Company is proud to host the naming of the Mill Hill Playhouse stage, to forevermore be known as "The Larry Hilton Stage," in honor of great donor, patron, producer and friend of the company Lawrence M. Hilton. Mr. Hilton was a beacon for Passage Theatre for nearly 40 years and a steward for all art, music, theater, and education in his hometown of Trenton, NJ.
