Anne and Arthur Goldstein Donate Over 70 Works of Modern and Contemporary Art to the Zimmerli Art Museum

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- On July 15, 2026, the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, announced a gift of more than 70 modern and contemporary works from the collection formed by longtime benefactors Anne and Arthur Goldstein. Spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and an exceptional selection of works on paper, the gift of art features established artists Tauba Auerbach, Darren Bader, Mark Bradford, Nicole Eisenman, and John Waters, alongside emerging voices, including Ever Baldwin, Troy Lamarr Chew II, and Lamar Peterson, as well as artists only now receiving broader institutional attention, such as Alice Mackler and Kunié Sugiura.

The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University to Open Three New Summer Exhibitions

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University will open three new summer exhibitions on July 11, 2026 — one documenting how the COVID-19 pandemic affected city businesses, one featuring the "crackpot realism" of artist Jim Brossy, and the third highlighting the works of multidisciplinary artist Thomas Murray.

ARTS 14C presents "The Fabric of a Nation"

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- ARTS 14C will open The Fabric of a Nation on Thursday, July 2nd, a textile and fiber exhibition mounted in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The show gathers fourteen artists who spent the spring grappling with the unfinished and often contradictory legacy of the American Revolution — and the 250 years that followed. It will remain on view through September 11, 2026.

Trenton City Museum announces 2026 Ellarslie Open award winners

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Nine artists from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California were awarded prizes during the Artists and Members Reception for Ellarslie Open 43 on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion. (HAMILTON, NJ) -- Explore the fleeting nature of time through murals, daily meditative practices and newly commissioned sculptures in "Shantell Martin: Past, Present, Future," on view from September 20, 2026-July 23, 2028 at Grounds For Sculpture (GFS). The immersive, site-specific installation will feature new work indoors and sculptures in the park's gardens.
