Calling All Artists! Display Your Work at the Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library

(SURF CITY, NJ) -- Are you a creative individual looking to share your work with your community? The Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library is looking for artists within the Ocean County area to display their artwork in the branch's meeting room. They are also looking for collectors and/or artists to display their collections, crafts or hobbies in the branch's lobby display case.



 

Reeves-Reed Arboretum presents "Chromatic Terrain: Contemporary Landscapes" by Greg Navrat

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Reeves-Reed Arboretum presents Chromatic Terrain: Contemporary Landscapes by Greg Navratil, an immersive exhibition featuring the work of Oregon-based painter Greg Navratil. The exhibition will be on view in the Wisner House Gallery from January 27 through May 10, 2026, with an opening reception on Sunday, February 8, from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Alfa Art Gallery presents "Reflections of the Living World"

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Alfa Art Gallery presents the Winter 2026 Photography Exhibition, Reflections of the Living World. The exhibition is free and open from January 20 through March 21, 2026. Featured artists include: Alan Chimacoff, Arik Gorban, Barry Rosenthal, Brian Hallas, Frederick Doerfler Jr., Gerald Slota, Jacki Dickert, Jeremy Dennis, Joanne Ross, Mark Aizenberg, Patricia Worley, Steven Kushner, and Tuyet Van Truster.

(BROOKYLN, NY) -- Tanya Weddemire Gallery presents "MAKING SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING", a Black History Month group exhibition curated by Tatianna Mack, from February 1 to March 28, 2026. The exhibition brings together the work of Kaima Marie Akarue, Tyreek Morrison, Nia Winslow, and Candace Caston, whose practices coalesce through collaging worlds shaped by lived experience, memory, and visual expression.

Visual Arts Center of New Jersey presents Three Exhibitions that Examine Various Intersections of Identity and Representation

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- From February 13 to August 23, 2026, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey (VACNJ) will showcase three exhibitions that examine various intersections of identity and representation. The exhibitions will feature artists whose work engages with themes such as material culture, Indigenous identity, queerness, and cityscapes, while questioning how narratives and visibility are controlled and reclaimed. Special attention is paid to the various processes of photography as artists demonstrate contemporary approaches to the wet plate, photogravure, and more.





West Windsor Arts Announces April Zay as Its Third Artist in Residence

(PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ) -- West Windsor Arts has announced that April Zay, a West Windsor–based multidisciplinary artist and educator, is kicking off her Artist in Residency by leading an artist talk at the arts center later this month. Zay is the third artist in residence for West Windsor Arts.
