Meet the author of "Waves of Hope" at Brick Library on November 14th

(BRICK, NJ) -- During World War II, a tech-savvy New Jersey woman took it upon herself to be a priceless information provider for families of captured U.S. service members. Agnes Joan Negra's exploits are chronicled in the book Waves of Hope. Meet her son Ronald Edward Negra, the author, at the Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The event begins at 11:00am.



 

A Look at Premieres at the 2026 Teaneck International Film Festival

A.R. Rahman to Perform with New Jersey Symphony November 3-4 at NJPAC

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The unforgettable melodies. The soaring emotion. The music that has captivated audiences around the world. Internationally celebrated composer, performer and producer A.R. Rahman joins the New Jersey Symphony at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for A.R. Rahman Symphonic Experience, with performances on Tuesday, November 3, and Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 7:30pm each night.

Studio Lofts, LLC begins construction on new Littleton Avenue Arts Destination in Newark's West Ward

(NEWARK, NJ)-- Studio Lofts, LLC has announced that construction is officially underway at 166–170 Littleton Avenue in Newark's West Ward. The approximately 9,000-square-foot mixed-use property will become the new home for Akwaaba Gallery and significantly expand its ability to present exhibitions, support working artists, welcome collectors and visitors, and create meaningful cultural experiences in the area. The new facility will include approximately 3,000 square feet of gallery and exhibition space, 10 private artist studios and residential apartments.
