Ukrainians around the world have been enjoying Connecticut-based Olya Fryz’s music for more than 25 years. The multi-talented vocalist-bandurist has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada at numerous festivals, interactive children’s shows and concerts, including Lincoln Center in New York City, Bloor Street Festival in Toronto, The Bushnell Theatre in Connecticut, Chicago and Rochester Ukrainian Festivals, the former Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel, and the United Nations International Citizens World Music Concert. 




 

Montclair Literary Festival Aims to Inspire and Build Long-Lasting Connections With the Community

Put on some comfortable shoes and bring a tote bag because the sixth annual Montclair Literary Festival is about to start. The festival will feature over 70 international, national, and local authors and will run from Thursday, May 5th to Monday, May 9th. Festival Day, Saturday, May 7th, will feature three different events at various locations in Montclair and run from 10 am until 7 pm.

"I was in the studio one night and my tour manager emailed me the flyer and asked me if I'd like to be a part of the tour and I was like, of course! That's no question at all, especially with NoCap who was one of the artists that I've looked up to for quite some time and as I was growing up," stated 19-year old hip-hop/rap artist Mpackt as he discussed his role on NoCap's "Mr. Crawford Tour," his lyrics, source of musical talent and an upcoming May 2 show at New York's Grammercy Theatre. "My mom died in 2019 and his music kind of reached out to me and helped me through some hard times."
