This creative writing workshop, proudly presented by UCPAC and designed specifically for seniors ages 60 and up, offers you the chance to write and share your own story with the guidance of a professional playwright. The workshop closes with a showcase performance of your work to share with family and friends.

Uncover and develop the stories that have shaped your life through various writing exercises and prompts, all designed to spark your creativity and memories.
Expert Guidance
Work closely with an experienced playwright who will help you craft a compelling, biographical, fictional, two-minute monologue that captures your unique voice and experiences.
Fun and Interactive Sessions
Enjoy engaging improvisation exercises. These activities are not only fun but also help build confidence and inspire new ideas for your storytelling.
Showcase Your Work
The program concludes with a special showcase where professional improv actors will read your monologue for an invited audience of friends and family. This is a wonderful opportunity to see your words come to life on stage!
