Join us for an evening of short films and conversation about health and well-being in New Jersey’s Mexican American communities.

Admission is free, but tickets are required.

Presented by the Rutgers Filmmaking Center in collaboration with The Mexican Consulate of New Brunswick.

- The world premiere of "Promotora" (14m) filmed by the students of the Documentary Film Lab. Dorie Hagler and Thomas Lennon, producers

- "De Oaxaca with Love" (10m), directed by Jamilli Pacheco-Urquiza

- "Strawberry Picker" (21m), directed by Eugenia Renteria

Screenings will be followed by a conversation with community health leader Teresa Vivar, Rutgers scholars, stakeholders such as RWJ Medical School and Johnson & Johnson, and student filmmakers.
