STAND CLEAR…Nurse Blake hits the road again with his NEW COMEDY TOUR “SHOCK ADVISED!” Bring out your friends, family, and coworkers for an EPIC night as Nurse Blake shares new stories with a comedic twist of the ins and outs of being a nurse. Healthcare workers are going to pack the theaters so it’s sure to be the safest place and most fun place to be! Blake Lynch, aka Nurse Blake is a nurse, creator, internationally touring comedian, healthcare advocate, and keynote speaker.

Hailed as a “genuine phenomenon” by The New York Times, Blake worked in trauma centers around the country before his career in comedy. As a way to cope with the stress of his nursing job, Blake started posting original comedy videos aimed at his profession. His lighthearted videos connected with nurses, nursing students, and healthcare workers around the world gaining Nurse Blake 3.5M followers on social media and over 300M views. He now takes his comedy to stages around the world bringing nurses together through his humor and inspiration. Nurse Blake’s sold out 2022 PTO Comedy Tour began as a 14 show run and grew to 55 shows due to demand. Nurse Blake will follow that with his massive Shock Advised Comedy Tour which hits 100 cities across North America in 2023.

Blake is also the is the creator of NurseCon at Sea, one of the largest and most popular nursing conferences, and the NurseCon App which provides the free continuing nursing education courses.  He previously managed several large programs including The Banned4Life Project, which ended an outdated FDA blood donor policy, and Nurses Support Their Young which promotes healthy work environments. Blake is also the author of the best-selling children’s book “I Want To Be A Nurse When I Grow Up” available online and at bookstores everywhere.

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This spring, Arden Children's Theatre invites families into a hilariously twisted world where classic fairy tales don't go quite as expected in its next production of the 2025/26 season, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (The Stinky Cheese Man). Based on the beloved book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, adapted by John Glore, the production brings the book's fractured fairy tales to life for kids and adults alike. Directed by Steve Pacek, the production runs on the Arden’s Arcadia stage with previews starting April 8, opening night on April 18, with performances running through May 31.

Haddon Township to Hold 4th Annual String Band Parade

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Camden County Board of Commissioners, along with Haddon Township, invites residents and visitors to the fourth annual String Band Parade down Haddon Ave, featuring the Philadelphia Mummers String Bands on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. (note: it was rescheduled from April 25th due to the weather)

Hitchcock Meets Hilarious: Bergen County Players presents "The 39 Steps"

(ORADELL, NJ) -- Fresh off being named the top live music or theater venue by 201 Magazine's "Best of Bergen" readers, Bergen County Players (BCP) invites audiences to brace themselves for a whirlwind of espionage and outrageous comedy with the Tony Award-winning The 39 Steps, which runs weekends from May 2-31, 2026. Directed by BCP life member Steve Bell, this breakneck adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 film classic blends film noir suspense with Monty Python-style absurdity.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Center presents Mrs. Christie, a witty new comedy-mystery by Heidi Armbruster, from May 6–31, 2026. The production is directed by BOLD Associate Artistic Director Donya K. Washington in her McCarter directorial debut.
