The Maplewood Strollers presents the World Premiere of "La Belle et La Bete"

The Maplewood Strollers, the resident theater company of The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood, are thrilled to present an original world-premiere musical, La Belle et la Bete. Based on the original French fable of Beauty and the Beast, come and be transported to a magical and gripping realm of love and song! Performances take place May 11-14 and May 18-21, 2023.
The production features Direction and Choreography by Carol Cornicelli with Musical direction by Michael Nuzzo.
La Belle et la Bete has a Book by Kelly Masterson; Lyrics by Judy Spencer; and Music by Wayne A. Blood.
Showtimes are Friday and Saturday, May 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th & 20th at 8:00pm, as well as Sunday, May 14th and 21st at 3:00pm at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road in Maplewood. The May 18 performance will have ALS interpreters, and the May 14th Mother’s Day showing offers a preshow tea with entertainment and delicious nibbles.
Adult tickets are $25 (plus service charges); tickets for students/seniors are $20 * (plus service charges).
