McCarter Theatre presents Legendary Violinist Kyung Wha Chung

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- One of the world's great violinists, Kyung Wha Chung, returns to McCarter Theatre Center for the first time in nearly 40 years on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 7:30pm, joined by pianist Kevin Kenner. This appearance marks a highlight of Chung's 60th year in music and is part of her limited international tour, which includes only three U.S. engagements—Princeton, Worcester (MA), and New York's Carnegie Hall.

Back in 2003, a CD by a band from New Jersey called Stereosoul arrived in my mailbox. I was hooked by the first song. They were a power-pop rock band with very catchy lyrics that seemed something like a mashup of Fountains of Wayne and The Beach Boys. That album was the final evolution of a previous band named Cosmic Avenger. Unfortunately, it wound up being the band's only record.
