After releasing several standalone singles and collabs since 2018, singer-songwriter Kiaura Rose is makin’ all kinds of waves in Asbury Park with her debut EP, “Vagrant.”
The seven-song outing’s latest single “Soaked” is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Soaked“ also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Aug. 7 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The Penguin, Mixcloud and RadioJersey.
“Soaked” was produced by Asbury-based Atlantic recording artist Joe Parella (Deal Casino), who also performs many of the instruments on that track, as well as a powerful tune entitled “Aftermath,” while Kiaura focuses on lead vocals and acoustic guitar. Max Connery of Sonic Blume plays piano on “Soaked.”
Also producing and appearing on “Vagrant” “ are Connor Hanson and Noah Sullivan. Additional contributions are by Christopher Baldaraggo, Jordan Tyler Jensen, Kevin Swanson, Sara Wojciehowski, David Ross Lawn, and Ryan Vinh.
Having recently headlined the Baronet Rooftop of The Asbury hotel, Kiaura will be announcing more shows soon. In the meantime, enjoy “Vagrant” on Apple Music and Spotify.
