According to the artist, “Looking Up” refers to the sights she beholds when looking out her windows or opening her door in the morning and seeing the sky shining through the trees. (NEW YORK, NY) -- Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company presents the Eighth CrossCurrent Choreographic Festival, in collaboration with Flushing Town Hall, on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00pm. This is a celebration of the vibrancy and diversity of the Asian American dance scene in the New York metropolitan area. The festival aims to foster creative contemporary dance choreography in the Asian American Community. The festival will increase the visibility of Asian and Asian American dance, foster cross-cultural dialog and provide a more equitable context to discuss dance and its role in the NY/NJ dance communities.
