(RAHWAY, NJ) -- The Slumlords of NJ, as they are called, New Jersey’s favorite hard rock band, RAHWAY is premiering their brand-new music video for the song “Only The Strong” on April 1, 2022 via their YouTube channel. “Strong” is the third music video off of the band’s highly acclaimed EP, Slumlords of NJ. Their last music video “Stone” was released in September 2020 and the EPs lead off-single “Sugar” was released in the middle of the pandemic with a Zoom-style filming.
The band spared no expense with creativity on this latest music video for “Only The Strong” making use of the green screen process. The video was filmed and edited by RAHWAY singer Nick Hade and takes viewers on an animated journey while Nick’s lyrics are displayed in the background. Bassist Chigger states, “We try to create music videos that set us apart from your typical local unsigned band, and if you look at our video views, you can see that we’re unlike any other unsigned local band.”
RAHWAY is currently preparing to head back into the studio with Slumlord of NJ’s producer Mike Orlando, guitarist for Adrenaline Mob, and will be playing a couple of limited performances to round out the rest of 2022 as direct support for Christian rockers Stryper at The Palladium in Times Square NYC on May 6 and Spread Eagle at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ on July 31.
