Theater League of Clifton to Hold Auditions for "Man of La Mancha"

(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The Theater League of Clifton will hold auditions for its mainstage production of the Broadway classic “Man of La Mancha” on May 5, 6, 7 and call backs on May 9 at Living Hope Presbyterian Church, 303 Maplewood Ave., Clifton. Audition sessions will run from 7:00pm-9:00pm except for Saturday, May 7 (from 1:00pm-3:00pm).

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Help East Lynne Theater Company kick off its 42nd Season at Fins Bar & Grille on Sunday, May 1st from 10:30am – 2:30pm.  Fins is located in Cape May at 142 Decatur Street on the Washington Street Mall. This is the fifth year that Fins has helped ELTC and other nonprofits in the community.

The New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund Awards More Than $500,000 in Grants

(LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund has awarded more than $500,000 in grants to nonprofits that will use the funds to help artists, teaching artists and history professionals recover from the financial devastation of the pandemic.

Inside SOPAC's Laughs in the Loft for May 4th

(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- Cackle, giggle, snicker, chuckle—however you like to laugh, these comedians will have you cracking up. Settle in for an evening of side-splitting comedy during SOPAC’s monthly Laughs in the Loft stand-up series. Hosted by local comedian Joe Larson, each show features several comedians in a New York City-style showcase. Laughs in the Loft is held every first Wednesday of the month. The next performance is Wednesday, May 4 at 7:30pm.  The lineup includes Emma Willmann, Ryan Reiss, Liz Glazer, and Howie Dewey. Tickets are $20.



NJ Rep offers Free Stream of "Blue Bench" for two weeks

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents Blue Bench, an eerie tale by Aleks Merilo. Directed by Joel Stone and starring Max Arnaud and AJ Melnick, the production will be available for free on Vimeo and at NJrep.org for two weeks starting April 25.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
