New Jersey Storytelling Network presents Stories of Community at Princeton Public Library

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- An evening of storytelling focusing on the theme of community and gratitude will take place Thursday, November 17 when New Jersey Storytelling Network presents “Tellebration: Stories of Community” at the Princeton Public Library. Donations for the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry will be collected during the event.



Jewish Heritage Museum Presents Casino Night

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents its first fundraising event since the pandemic: Casino Night, on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 7:30pm at the Freehold Jewish Center. (OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) is presenting Avenue Q, the laugh-out-loud musical that features grown-up puppets. This play tells the timeless story of a bright-eyed college grad named Princeton. When he arrives in the city with big dreams and a tiny bank account, he has to move into a shabby apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. The show runs through November 20. Princeton Makes and Ragged Sky Press Second Sunday Poetry Reading on November 13th

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, November 13 at 4:00pm. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center.The reading will feature Luray Gross and Bruce Lowry. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.

NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents a Spring Season of Jazz with free monthly jazz jams at Clement's Place and two special concert events inside the Victoria Theater. This series, running from September through June, is co-presented by NJPAC's Jazz Advisory Committee and Rutgers University–Newark's Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS). PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
