
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- An evening of storytelling focusing on the theme of community and gratitude will take place Thursday, November 17 when New Jersey Storytelling Network presents “Tellebration: Stories of Community” at the Princeton Public Library. Donations for the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry will be collected during the event.
The evening, part of the National Storytelling Network’s worldwide TELLABRATION!™ storytelling event, begins at 7:00pm in the Community Room. The event will conclude with a “slam” session on gratitude.
The New Jersey Storytelling Network [NJSN] was founded in February 2002 as a New Jersey non-profit organization and gained 501c3 status in October 2007. The purpose of the network is to encourage and promote storytelling in New Jersey.
Donations will also be accepted for the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry's Holiday Food Drive. Requested items include: Baking powder, Baking soda, Canned milk (condensed, evaporated), Chocolate chips, Raisins, Seasonings (cinnamon, nutmeg, salt), Sugar (brown, powdered, white), Vanilla extract, White, unbleached flour, Yeast packets (active dry), Monetary or gift card donations can also be made directly through the Mobile Food Pantry.
