DD Verni has sold millions of records and headlined venues and festivals around the world for over 40 years with his band, heavy metal legends Overkill. Now DD brings his 13-piece rockin' swing band to your town!

Setlists include songs from their albums "Let's Rattle" and the new album "Buckle Up" as well as everything from Fats Domino to Jerry Lee to Sinatra. On their new album DD VERNI & THE CADILLAC BAND make Rockin'-Swing-Big Band music more accessible and relatable than ever before, marrying rock ‘n roll’s visceral energy and succinct songwriting to suave, swinging throwback arrangements and aesthetics.  "Buckle Up" features longtime Brian Setzer drummer Bernie Dresel and slap bassist Johnny Hatton; horn players from Paul McCartney’s band and The Eagles; pianist Or Matias (Josh Groban); guitarist Angus Clark (Trans-Siberian Orchestra); and backing vocals by acclaimed pop-rock duo Kingston and GreyStarr.

Expect DD VERNI & THE CADILLAC BAND’s live shows to be everything that you’d expect in a big band built by a member of a larger-than-life metal act. “This is a big rock ‘n roll show!” DD enthused. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites... 07/30/2026

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
