SohAnika Arts in collaboration with New Jersey's leading dance & music schools presents Shri Krishna Mahima

Published by New Jersey Stage

originally published: 10/10/2026

*Mahima means glory — and few glories have endured like Krishna's. Five millennia after His flute echoed across Vrindavan, His leelas still dance through our stories, His teachings still light our way.*

This Diwali season, SohAnika Arts — in collaboration with New Jersey's leading dance & music schools — brings that glory to the stage with Shri Krishna Mahima: a grand, vibrant, full-evening dance-drama-musical packed with dazzling costumes, rhythmic footwork, live music, and theatrical drama. Classical, semi-classical, and contemporary Indian dance forms collide in celebration as a 40-plus member ensemble — fresh young talent alongside seasoned stage actors —lights up Hopewell Valley Stage on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 6:30pm, in an intimate theatre just ahead of Diwali. An evening of pure entertainment for the entire family.

Following last year's Ramayan musical and a successful Gandhi Jayanti & Diwali celebration at Royal Albert Palace, SohAnika Arts returns with its most ambitious production yet.

Tickets are $45 with group discounts available — use code Sohanika or Krishna at checkout. Tickets are available for purchase online. Hopewell Valley Stage is located at 5 S Greenwood Avenue in Hopewell, New Jersey.

SohAnika Arts is a performing arts organization bridging Indian classical tradition and modern expression through Kathak dance, drama, music, and devotion.
