(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is presenting Pippin from May 8–17, 2026. There's magic to do when a prince learns the true meaning of glory, love and war in Stephen Schwartz's iconic and unforgettable musical masterpiece. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.

With unforgettable songs, mesmerizing choreography, and a touch of magic, this Tony Award®-winning classic invites audiences to experience the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Leading the cast is Matthew Paul Johnson in the title role of Pippin, alongside Natalie Hayes-Scott as the Leading Player, Savannah Fouchi as Catherine, David Fusco as Charlemagne, Danny Marks as Lewis, Colleen Renee Lis as Fastrada, Lynne Truex as Berthe, and Parker Spagnuolo as Theo. They are joined by a dynamic ensemble of Players who bring this magical and theatrical journey to life.

Tickets are available for purchase online, by calling the box office at 732-528-9211, or in person Monday–Saturday from 10:00am–4:00pm. Tickets start at $27. The Algonquin Arts Theatre & Box Office are located at 60 Abe Voorhees Drive in Manasquan, New Jersey.
