Crossroads Theatre Company presents "Crumbs from the Table of Joy" by Lynn Nottage  (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Crossroads Theatre Company (CTC) opens their season with Lynn Nottage's Crumbs from the Table of Joy from October 24 – November 23, 2025. The production is directed by Nataki Garrett, a brilliant educator, artistic leader and winner of the prestigious Doris Duke Artist Award. The play follows the Crump family after the passing of their beloved matriarch.

Burlington County Footlighters presents "She Loves Me"  (CINNAMINSON, NJ) -- Burlington County Footlighters presents She Loves Me across three weekends from November 8-22, 2025. Step into a charming shop in 1930s Budapest, where love hides in plain sight in She Loves Me. This heartwarming musical follows two feuding coworkers who unwittingly fall for each other through anonymous letters.

Pioneer Productions presents "Steel Magnolias"  (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions presents Steel Magnolias across two weekends from November 14-23, 2024 at The Stage at Fellowship Hall in the Morristown United Methodist Church. The timeless classic by Robert Harling is set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon.

Vivid Stage Brings Pop-Up Theatre: Fiona's Café to Serra Doce in Summit  (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage will bring a fresh format of theatre to the community on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Fiona's Café is a Pop-Up show that will happen at Serra Doce Coffee Shop in Summit for one night only. This unscripted story will be improvised by the Vivid company of actors while patrons are treated to sandwiches, desserts and beverages from Serra Doce.

Arden Theatre Company presents "The Mountaintop" by Katori Hall  (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company presents The Mountaintop, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall, and directed by Barrymore Award-winning director Brett Ashley Robinson. Running October 30 through December 14, 2025 on the Arcadia Stage, the 90-minute reimagining of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s final night, invites audiences into a deeply intimate and human portrait of one of the most iconic leaders of the 20th century.

NJ Rep presents the World Premiere of "The Drop Off" by James Anthony Tyler  (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) is proud to present the world premiere of The Drop Off, a powerful new comic-drama by James Anthony Tyler, recipient of the 3rd Annual Horton Foote Playwriting Award. Directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, performances will run October 30 through November 23, 2025, and opening night will be celebrated on November 1 at 7:00pm.

Two River Theater presents the World Premiere of "The Monsters: A Sibling Love Story"  (RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater presents the world premiere of The Monsters: A Sibling Love Story, written and directed by Ngozi Anyanwu (Good Grief, The Homecoming Queen, The Last of the Love Letters). Originally commissioned by TRT and presented as a co-production with Manhattan Theatre Club, this powerful new drama will run in the intimate Marion Huber Theater from November 1–23, 2025.

Premiere Stages at Kean University to Develop Works By Three Playwrights  (UNION, NJ) -- Premiere Stages at Kean University announced that three playwrights will have new plays developed as part of the 2025 and 2026 seasons: Mala Aria by Gloria Majule, Lia Del Mar by Dacyl Acevedo, and Effa Loves Baseball by Pia Wilson.

The Village Playbox presents "SHOWPLACE - the story of Steel Pier"  (HADDON HEIGHTS, NJ) — The Village Playbox presents a new original musical by local playwright Rob Kristie - SHOWPLACE - the story of Steel Pier across three weekends from November 6-22, 2025. This is a story about the iconic and legendary venue in Atlantic City, NJ. It contains both fictional and non-fictional characters and covers the period from 1925 to 1977.

Holmdel Theatre Company presents "Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2b"  (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Holmdel Theatre Company presents Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2b across three weekends from November 7-23, 2025. This is the company's first full Main-Stage production since April 2024! It's a sharp, sassy, modern twist on a classic mystery by Kate Hamill.

Playhouse 22 presents "The Cake" - a sweet dramedy about love and laughter  (EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Playhouse 22 presents The Cake weekends from November 7 - 23, 2025. The play by Bekah Brunstetter is a touching and topical comedy/drama in which a vivacious, conservative North Carolina baker named Della faces a crisis of conscience when Jen - whom she loves like a daughter - asks her to bake a cake for Jen's lesbian wedding.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "Annie"  (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Leapin' Lizards! The irrepressible comic strip heroine comes to the Music Mountain Theatre stage in one of the world's best-loved musicals. Performances of Annie take place across three weekends from November 7-23, 2025.

South Camden Theatre Company presents "DOT" by Colman Domingo  (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Celebrate 20 years of professional theatre in Camden with the final production of the 2025 season by South Camden Theatre Company - DOT by Colman Domingo. Performances run weekends from November 8-23, 2025. The New York Times said this play is "A thoroughly entertaining comedy-drama! An impressive advance for Colman Domingo."

"The Art Tour" to Have NY Premiere  (NEW YORK, NY) -- The New York premiere of The Art Tour, a new musical written by Kyle Fackrell and directed by Lindsey Hope Pearlman, starring Michael Tacconi (Parade national tour, Ivo Van Hove's West Side Story on Broadway, The Cher Show on Broadway) and Samantha Joy Pearlman (Chasing Rainbows at Paper Mill), will run Off-Broadway November 11-22, 2025 in a limited engagement at Theatre Row (Theatre Four), located at 410 West 42 Street in New York City. Opening night is November 14.

East Coast Premiere of "The Missileman of Peenemünde" Comes to Somers Point for Two Weekends  (SOMERS POINT, NJ) -- SPQR Stage Company, the Jersey Shore's "Original" theater company, will produce The Missileman of Peenemunde, written and directed by SPQR’s Artistic Director Bill Sterritt, across two weekends from November 14-22, 2025 at Studio;Space in Somers Point.

Players Guild of Leonia presents the World Premiere of "Where The Time Goes"  (LEONIA, NJ) -- Where The Time Goes is a World Premiere musical that takes you on a nostalgic journey through the soundtrack of a generation. It debuts at Players Guild of Leonia with performances across two weekends from November 14-23, 2025.

Kean University Theatre Department presents "Antigone"  (UNION, NJ) -- Kean University Theatre Department presents Antigone from November 14-22, 2025 in the Wilkins Theatre. Discover the timeless power of defiance in Sophocles' Antigone!

North Star Theater Company presents "Steel Magnolias"  (OGDENSBURG, NJ) -- North Star Theater Company presents Steel Magnolias across two weekends from November 14-23, 2025. The play by Robert Harling takes place at the North Star Studio Theater. Sara Bartlett directs the production.

Villagers Theatre presents "Mary Poppins"  (SOMERSET, NJ) -- One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is on stage in Somerset. There are two weekends left to catch Mary Poppins at Villagers Theatre. Performances run Friday through Sunday now through November 22, 2025. The production is directed by Jack Tomy.

Quintessence Theatre presents "The Pirates of Penzance"  (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Quintessence Theatre continues its 16th season with The Pirates of Penzance, the beloved comic opera by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, from November 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Directed by Quintessence Artistic Director Alex Burns, the resplendent and hilarious story follows a band of pirates who go to battle with the British bobbies over the hearts of a bevy of beautiful Cornish maidens, with only a Major- General and Queen Victoria to stand in their way.

Cape May Stage presents the World Premiere of "Let's Catch Santa"  (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents the World Premiere of Let's Catch Santa from November 19 through December 28, 2025. This is a new holiday play by Dan McCormick that combines magic, humor, hope and the Christmas spirit. The production is directed by Roy Steinberg.

Centenary Stage Company's Fringe Festival 2025 presents "My Italy Story"  (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's Fringe Festival 2025 will continue with My Italy Story written and performed by Joseph Gallo. Performances will take place November 20-23, 2025 in the Kutz Theatre. Spurred by visits from his grandmother's ghost and by pleas from his cousin Louie to help get the family back together, Thomas DaGato quits his job as a New York account executive, and travels to the tiny Italian village of his ancestors - Vallata. It's not until he comes home, however, that he discovers a secret that unlocks his past.

Phoenix Productions presents Meredith Willson's "Miracle on 34th Street"  (RED BANK, NJ) -- Phoenix Productions presents Meredith Willson's "Miracle on 34th Street" from November 21-23, 2025 at Count Basie Center for the Arts. A holiday classic from the writer of The Music Man and based on the film of the same name, Miracle on 34th Street tells the story of single mother Doris Walker, who doesn’t want her six-year-old Susan's head filled with romantic notions.

Aspire Performing Arts Company presents "Frozen JR."  (FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- Aspire Performing Arts Company presents the musical Frozen JR. at the Fair Lawn Community Center from November 21-23, 2025. Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage.

Axelrod Performing Arts Academy presents Disney's "The Little Mermaid, JR."  (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Axelrod Performing Arts Academy presents Disney's The Little Mermaid, JR. from November 21-23, 2025 at Bell Theater at Bell Works. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, this is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

Kick Off the Holidays With "Seasonal Allergies" at Kelsey Theatre  (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Kick off the holidays with a quirky group of friends and family navigating the stresses of the season in the hilarious comedy "Seasonal Allergies," weekends from November 21-30, 2025 at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College.

The Artist Collective Troupe presents "Almost Maine"  (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- The Artist Collective Troupe presents Almost Maine from November 21-23, 2025 at The Villas of Holmdel. The play takes place in a town so far north, it's almost not in the United States. It's almost in Canada. And it's not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn't exist.

Art House Productions & Skyline Arts presents "Urinetown, the Musical"  (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions & Skyline Arts presents Urinetown, the Musical from November 22-23, 2025. Get ready to laugh but also... sort of question everything.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "A Christmas Carol"  (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents A Christmas Carol weekends from November 28 through December 14, 2025. This is a spectacular musical adaptation of Dickens' most well-known story.

The Theater Project presents "It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play" over Thanksgiving Weekend  (SUMMIT, NJ) -- A twenty-plus-year tradition unbroken by theater closures thanks to Zoom technology, It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play, returns to Oakes Center Theater for Thanksgiving weekend, November 29-30, 2025 to ring in the holidays. The Theater Project's production has grown each year, passing the story's message of redemption and community from actor to actor and audience to audience, year after year.

State Theatre New Jersey presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage  (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. The Broadway-style production complete with all-new immersive sets, lighting, choreography, and colorful costumes, has sold more than 300,000 tickets over the prior holiday seasons.

George Street Playhouse presents "Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Jersey Christmas Show"  (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse presents Ebenezer Scrooge's Big Jersey Christmas Show from December 2-21, 2025. Written by Gordon Greenberg (Holiday Inn, Dracula!) and Steve Rosen (The Other Josh Cohen) and directed by Greenberg, it is based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and gives the holiday classic a Jersey twist.

Arden Children's Theatre presents "A Wrinkle In Time"  (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This winter, Arden Children's Theatre invites families to journey across time and space with an exciting adaptation of Madeline L'Engle's beloved book, A Wrinkle in Time. Adapted by John Glore, winner of the Newbery Medal, A Wrinkle in Time has inspired generations of readers, and even a major motion picture, since its publication. Now, the Arden brings this timeless classic to its stage for the first time. The production runs from December 3 through January 25, 2026.

Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play"  (MADISON, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) presents It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, running December 3-28, 2025 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre on the campus of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. This brings the beloved holiday classic to life in the format of a 1940s radio broadcast — complete with microphones, sound effects, and a talented ensemble of actors.

Cirque du Soleil presents "'Twas the Night Before..." at The Theater at MSG  (NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) announced that, due to overwhelming success, the celebrated holiday theatrical 'Twas the Night Before... by Cirque du Soleil is returning to The Theater at Madison Square Garden for a limited engagement this holiday season from December 4-28, 2025.

Vanguard Theater Company presents "Into The Woods"  (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater Company presents Into The Woods from December 4-21, 2025. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

New Jersey Repertory Company presents "Just Another Day" by Dan Lauria  (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents Just Another Day by Dan Lauria from December 4-20, 2025. Eric Krebs directs Dan Lauria and Patty McCormack in a different kind of love story.

HACPAC presents "The Christmas Caper"  (HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Christmas Caper returns to the Hackensack Performing Arts Center with performances weekends from December 5-13, 2025. This is a magical show that has become an annual tradition in Hackensack, delighting audiences with its enchanting performances and heartwarming storytelling.

Gateway Playhouse presents "Scrooge, The Musical"  (SOMERS POINT, NJ) -- Gateway Playhouse will ring in the holiday season with two weekends of the Christmas classic Scrooge the Musical, from December 5-14, 2025. Based on Charles Dickens' beloved A Christmas Carol, this musical brings the timeless holiday tale to life with warmth, humor and unforgettable music by Leslie Bricusse.

CDC Theatre presents "FROSTED" - A Frozen Fairytale Parody  (CRANFORD, NJ) -- CDC Theatre presents FROSTED - A Frozen Fairytale Parody across two weekends from December 5-14, 2025. FROSTED is an energetic, interactive parody musical for the whole family.

American Theater Group presents "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play"  (BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) presents Joe Landry's It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play running December 5-7, 2025 at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge and December 12-21, 2025 at the DMK Black Box Theater in Union.

Ritz Theatre Company presents "Goldilocks & The House of Ginger"  (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents Goldilocks & The House of Ginger weekends from December 5-21, 2025. From the zany minds of Bruce Curless and Brian Bacon comes another Christmas Musical Pantomime that is sure to have you laughing in the aisles!

Bergen County Players presents "SPIN: The Rumpelstiltskin Musical"  (ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 93rd season with a special holiday run of SPIN: The Rumpelstiltskin Musical, returning to the Little Firehouse Theatre nearly four decades after its original BCP production in 1986. With music by Neil Fishman, and book and lyrics by Harvey Edelman, the holiday family show runs December 6-21, 2025 and is directed by Bunny Mateosian.

Bristol Riverside Theatre presents the World Premiere of "The Nice List"  (BRISTOL, PA) -- Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) welcomes the holiday season with the world premiere of The Nice List, a lively musical filled with songs, humor, and plenty of Christmas cheer. This merry new production invites audiences of all ages to embark on a cheerful adventure straight from Santa's North Pole. Emmy Award-winning director Alan Muraoka leads this joyful production with music direction by Gary Adler. The production runs December 9-28, 2025.

Shakespeare Theatre's Acting Apprenticeship Company presents "Love's Labour's Lost"

"Golden Girls - The Tribute Show!" comes to Kelsey Theatre on June 27th

State Theatre New Jersey presents Monty Python's Spamalot

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents the national tour of the Tony Award®-winning musical comedy, Monty Python's Spamalot, for four performances from June 27-28, 2026.
