(NUTLEY, NJ) -- Fifteen years after leaving her family and stagnant marriage, Henrik Ibsen's Nora returns home in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House Part 2. Nutley Little Theatre presents this sequel to Ibsen's classic play across three weekends from September 11-26, 2026.
It has been 15 years since Nora Helmer left her marriage and her children to find a new life. She now returns with an urgent request of her husband, Torvald. The play continues to look at traditional gender roles, human relationships, identity and, of course, societal expectations.
Directed by Wanda Maragni, the cast features Jodi Maloy as Anne Marie; Heidi Hart as Nora; Rick Brown as Torvald; and Diana Severin as Emmy.
The Production Team includes: Mackenzie Cavagnaro – Stage Manager; Diane Nigro – Lighting Design; Alex Oleksij – Set Design; and Wanda Maragni – Costumes.
Performances take place Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00pm (with an extra performance on Thursday, September 18th at 8:00pm) and matinees at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 13 & 20 and Saturday, September 26. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theater is located at 47 Erie Place in Nutley, New Jersey.
