(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents Just Another Day by Dan Lauria from December 4-20, 2025. Eric Krebs directs Dan Lauria and Patty McCormack in a different kind of love story.
A comedy writer and a sophisticated poet in their seventies meet daily on a park bench to exchange wits and barbs, and wax nostalgic about old movies, all the while trying to figure out how they know – and love – each other.
At least for that day.
Performances take place Thursdays at 7:00pm; Fridays at 2:00pm; Saturdays at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. New Jersey Repertory Company is located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Dan Lauria has appeared as a guest star in over seventy television episodic programs and more than twenty Movie of the Week productions plus a score of motion picture credits. He's best known as the Dad on the Emmy winning TV show The Wonder Years and Lombardi on Broadway.
Patricia McCormack is an American actress with a career in theater, films, and television. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for The Bad Seed. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 aged 15, making her the youngest honoree on the Walk.
The New Jersey Repertory Company was founded in 1997 by SuzAnne and Gabor Barabas. Its current central headquarters is the Lumia Theater located on lower Broadway in Long Branch.
Over two decades NJRep has produced 140 plays of which 125 have been world premieres. The theater has the additional distinction of having had many of its plays produced by other theaters around the country totaling over 200 subsequent productions in the U.S. and overseas.
In 2012 and 2018 NJRep was the recipient of a National Theater Company Grant from the American Theater Wing that sponsors the annual Tony Awards for Broadway in recognition of its contribution to the repertoire of the American Stage. Only seven theaters have had this distinction.
