No matter where we're from, political discourse can be quite polarizing. So how do you make it entertaining, fun even? This is a question that playwright Heidi Shreck aims to challenge in the somewhat autobiographical play, "What the Constitution Means to Me."




 

Magnolia Productions presents "Night Watch" by Lucille Fletcher

(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- Magnolia Productions, a new Monmouth County theater group, is launching their first full season. After the debut production of David Auburn's Proof last June, for which the company received three New Jersey Association of Community Theater Perry Award nominations, they are back with a full season's offering.

George Street Playhouse presents An Evening of Constitutional Conversation

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse presents Tony Award nominee and playwright of What the Constitution Means to Me Heidi Schreck and Dr. Elizabeth C. Matto ("To Keep the Republic: Thinking, Talking, and Acting Like a Democratic Citizen"), Director of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University in a conversation moderated by director Laiona Michelle about What the Constitution Means to Me.



Vivid Stage presents "A Very Spooky Special"

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. This season, the company will present thirty performances of different kinds, in locations all over the region. Next up is A Very Spooky Special, a Halloween variety show, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 8:00pm.
