2023 Passaic County Book Festival to Take Place June 10th

(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The County of Passaic, in conjunction with the PALS Plus Library Consortium, presents the 2023 Passaic County Book Festival at Weasel Brook Park in Clifton on Saturday, June 10th from 11:00am to 4:00pm.



MPAC presents Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Singer-Songwriter Bruce Hornsby returns to Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) with his band The Noisemakers on Wednesday, June 21 at 7;30pm. Tickets range from $39-$79.

Possum Kingdom - Virginia K Yearick (New York, New York) On a run-down family farm in South Carolina, three generations of white men kill time in living rooms, open fields, and shallow water. The boredom that comes from the relative comfort and the slow decay around them leads them further and further into casual destruction. The film is an unscripted blend of documentary and fiction. Starring a mix of first-time actors, non-actors, and people playing alternate versions of themselves, most of the story takes place on a run down family farm, and we are introduced to members of the community that surrounds it. It may serve as both a neutral window into a way of life as well as a personal dreamland heavy with sentimentality. 2022; 91 min. Brick City Comedy Revue presents North to Shore Edition with Chris Gethard

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Brick City Comedy Revue, Newark's premier comedy showcase, has joined the festivities of North to Shore with a special edition on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Kilkenny Alehouse. The event, hosted by Justin Williams and DJ Popido, promises a special line-up of some of the best comedians around. The comedy lineup includes Chris Gethard, Kenice Mobley, Shakir Standley (Shak), Alex Grubard, and Ariel Leaty. The musical guest is Jané Miranda. Showtime is 8:00pm.
