50th Anniversary Tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar" comes to State Theatre June 9-11

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents the reimagined 50th Anniversary tour of Jesus Christ Superstar for four performances between June 9-11, 2023. The musical is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes "I Don’t Know How to Love Him," "Gethsemane," and "Superstar."



Princeton Festival Weeknights I: June 13-15

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- There is plenty of music, improvisational hilarity, and romance filling the first round of weeknight performances at this year's 2023 Princeton Festival, which takes place June 9-25. Resettlement - A Chicago Story screens at the 2023 New Jersey International Film Festival on June 2!

Based on true events, Resettlement - A Chicago Story, directed by Reina Higashitani, depicts the hardships of the Yamamotos, one family attempting to rebuild their lives in Chicago after being unjustly incarcerated in concentration camps during the Second World War. It will be screening at 2023 New Jersey International Film Festival on Friday, June 2 as part of Shorts Program #1.
