Reykjavik Fringe Diary #3

So, without a lot of reading or even some proper backstory, please allow me to just post these pictures, some of the crazy, some of them beautiful. Maybe a little backstory...

Wednesday morning, I awoke, with energy and with the need to take a walk somewhere. sall of my travels before this, when solo, I find myself needing to take some stroll or other with a loose target and an even looser time frame. My accommodations are not far from the water, what I THINK is called the Rauõarárvik(feel free to try and pronounce that one) Bay which sits right on the north side of the city. On my map, I tried to discern where I could find some easy beach so that I could dip my feet or atleast make some pictures. There was enough sun amongst the clouds to give a little light and so off i went, flip flops, short and a long sleeve T-shirt, which has been my go to uniform since settling in. On a side note, I've noticed that the cold isn't so bad for me. I've never minded the cold and i do like to swim in cold water, but even the Icelandic were dressed for the cold and looking at me funny. I mean, it's their summer, act like it peoples.

I've got this new iphone 14 pro, so i figure it's time to start messing around with the camera and I set out towards the bay, not knowing that the wind would be howling, the people would be staring and luckily, there were views worth snapping.

To wrap this up, I like to snap flowers because my mother is a florist, I like to snap clouds, because they are cool and if I am fortunate, my walks will find some else to mix it all up with. Somehow, I discovered a little seashore park, and somehow, this one contained the work of a famous artist. Rusted metal, flowers, clouds, a windy sea and some light.
