McCarter Live at the Library: What is the Science of Love?

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen and creatives from Legacy of Light take the audience behind the scenes as they discuss the upcoming McCarter Theatre production at the Princeton Public Library on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The event runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Community Room.




 

Grunin Center presents April Varner

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Grunin Center for the Arts presents Award-Winning Jazz Vocalist and Composer April Varner on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in the Gia Maione Prima Foundation Studio Theatre. She is recognizable by her curly red hair and voice of an "old soul", often brings her listeners to another place - one long ago when the giants of jazz were still gracing the stage. Showtime is 3:00pm.



Lee Mrowicki Finally Tells His Tales of The Stone Pony

There has never been a club like The Stone Pony and one man has been there from its earliest days, its highest highs, and its lowest lows. Known as the "Voice of The Stone Pony", DJ Lee Mrowicki tells tales from the club's initial run from opening in 1974 to being thrown into bankruptcy court in 1991.



Vivid Stage's The Flip Side presents Improv at Madison Community Arts Center

(MADISON, NJ) -- Vivid Stage is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. This season, the company is presenting thirty performances of different kinds, in locations all over the region. The next of these performances will be The Flip Side, the house improv team of Vivid Stage, which will perform at the Madison Community Arts Center on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 8:00pm.
