Middlesex County's Free Concert Series Returns for 2025

Concerts take place at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy; Thompson Park in Jamesburg; Spring Lake Park in South Plainfield; and Medwick Park in Carteret.



Tyler, The Creator to Plays Shows in Philly/NY/NJ in July

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Tyler, The Creator announces a 2025 world tour in support of his forthcoming album CHROMAKOPIA. Promoted by AEG Presents, CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR will feature special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas and spans North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand over the course of 2025. The tour comes to Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on July 5; Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 14; Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 17; and Prudential Center in Newark on July 27, 2025.






 

Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center presents Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" in Metuchen and Plainfield

(METUCHEN, NJ) -- Not long after a revival of Thornton Wilder's play Our Town closed on Broadway, New Jersey audiences will have the chance to see the classic drama close to home. Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center will present the classic play in both Metuchen and Plainfield in July. Directed by Dragonfly's Artistic Director Catherine LaMoreaux, Our Town invites audiences into the heart of small-town America through the everyday lives of the residents of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.



Twisted Livin' to return to Lizzie Rose Music Room in July and August

(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Twisted Livin', New Jersey's emerging blues-rock contenders who continue their ascension to becoming one of the best new groups to emerge from the Jersey Shore, return "by popular demand" to one of the area's premiere music venues, Lizzie Rose Music Room, for two big shows: Saturday, July 5 (performing with Blues People) and then again on Thursday, August 7, when they'll headline the highly-regarded Tuckerton-based venue.

Cape May Poet Laureate Sylvia Baer hosts writing workshops on poetry, fiction, memoir and children's literature this July

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May MAC (Museums+Arts+Culture) once again presents Cape May Poet Laureate Sylvia Baer in a new series of writing workshops this summer open to writers of all levels. Sylvia brings her engaging teaching style and deep literary knowledge to this series that will explore four different genres of writing: poetry, fiction, memoir and children's literature.
