Sahara Moon is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from coastal New Jersey whose music blends warm, introspective songwriting with elements of folk and jazz-influenced pop. Drawing comparisons to artists such as Norah Jones, Jewel, and Madison Cunningham, Moon pairs soulful vocals with organic instrumentation and a songwriting style that is rooted in poetry, honesty and nostalgia.
Over the course of her independent career, Moon has shared the stage with Stephen Wilson Jr., Robert Cray, The Marshall Tucker Band, Gabe Dixon, Jake Shimabukuro, and others, with appearances at AmericanaFest, Ladybug Music Festival, Let’s Go! Music Festival, and Mayday Music Festival.
Moon's music has reached listeners worldwide, including more than forty million streams through an experimental EDM collaboration of Coldplay's “Clocks.” Her music has crossed into film, with “Lost In Love” featured in the motion picture Hostile Takeover, that is streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime, as well as songwriting and original score contributions to the award-winning independent short film Dream Boy.
