This musical spectacle tells the story of the great B.B. King and other legendary blues and R&B legends such as Sam Cooke and Ray Charles, starring renowned vocalist and guitarist Brother Chris Clermont and backed by an orchestra. Featuring King classics such as “The Thrill is Gone,” “Everyday I Have the Blues” and many more. 

Incredible Vocalist / Guitarist Brother Chris Clermont and musical director Mariano Longo explore this rich landscape of American music. The show features hits from B.B King, George Jones, Ray Charles, Brook Benton, Clarence Carter, Jerry Butler, Bobby Womack, and Sam Cooke.

Born and raised in Motown, singer/guitarist Brother Chris Clermont is a stalwart of the Los Angeles and Las Vegas music scenes. This multifaceted artist and producer of 7 CDs is an alumnus of Barry White’s legendary Love Unlimited Orchestra and jazz organist Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express.

In his career, he contributed heavily to many platinum and Grammy Award winning LPs like “Staying Power” by Barry White, “The Chronic” by Dr. Dre, “Doggystyle” by Snoop Doggy Dogg, and “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan to name a few. His credits boast stage appearances with artists from Smokey Robinson, The Jacksons, MC Hammer, Rod Stewart, Lisa Stansfield, Kelly Clarkson, Steve Tyrell, Burt Bacharach, The Drifters, The Platters, The Coasters, and many more.

Returning to his roots in American blues music, he became a Vegas headliner with the debut of his original production “B.B. & Me: When Love Comes To Town,” a musical spectacle telling the story of the great B.B. King, which received rave reviews and sold-out houses. He is also currently recording his first traditional blues album, “This Train’s Gonna Run.”

EVENT PREVIEWS

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- East Lynne Theater Company presents the New Jersey Premiere of Lunar Eclipse by Donald Margulies from August 27 through September 20, 2026. In the play, George has been waiting for this night – the seven stages of a lunar eclipse are viewable from the farm that he shares with his wife Em – and she decides to join him in taking in the view.

45th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival will Take Place September 4th through October 4th

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The 45th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival will be taking place between September 4 - October 4, 2026. As they have been doing the last few years, the festival will be presented as a hybrid with select in-person screenings at Rutgers University and most of the films available virtually via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date. The festival also be offering an Audio-Visual Concert featuring the bands Lawns and Hanging Coats as well as two FREE Filmmaking Workshops.
