This new supergroup features legendary banjo master Béla Fleck, Mexican drummer Antonio Sánchez, and Colombian harpist Edmar Castañeda.
An eighteen-time Grammy Award-winner, Béla Fleck is an iconic artist with his group the Flecktones, and his remarkable career has taken him all over the musical map in a wide range of solo projects and collaborations.
From Mexico City, 4-time Grammy Award-winner Antonio Sánchez is one of the world’s most sought-after drummers. A long-time collaborator with Pat Metheny, Sánchez has worked with him for over 18 years across nine albums. His acclaim reached new heights in 2014 when he scored Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Academy Award-winning film “Birdman”.
Colombia-native and harpist Edmar Castañeda, one of the preeminent jazz harp virtuosi, masterfully merges a diverse set of styles and genres and has cemented the harp’s place in modern music. He has appeared with Wynton Marsalis, John Scofield, Rickie Lee Jones, Hiromi, and Paco de Lucía.
