Coyote Jack mines the fertile field of American roots-derived music that includes country- and folk-rock, rock, blues, and punk. The band blends the best of these influences in original songs with universal themes: the joys and pains of love (The Best of You), favorite junker cars from our youth (One Bad Chevrolet), landmark events that defined generations (1961), and the plain and simple joys of partying (Love Is Love). The band can deliver hard-driving classic barroom music with relentless bass, drums and scorching guitar, then offer equally authentic softer sounds that spotlight chiming piano and sensitive vocals.
Lisa Bouchelle has sung backup for Bruce Springsteen and dueted in concert with Jon Bon Jovi; recorded with musical luminaries ranging from John Popper of Blues Traveler to James LeBrie of Dream Theater; toured with and/or opened for artists such as The Wallflowers, Train, Blues Traveler, Jason Mraz, Bryan Adams, Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze, Don Felder of The Eagles, Shooter Jennings, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Colbie Callait, Steve Miller, America, Donavon Frankenreiter, and The Wailers, among others.
In addition to her own musical endeavors, Lisa has found the time to appear in a number of off-Broadway productions, and is the creator and host of the regional hit TV show Rock Star Kitchen, which airs twice weekly on The Comcast Network in the mid-Atlantic region.
