John Hathaway returns once again to Lizzie Rose with another audience pleasing concept, a new band and a new sound that will be surprisingly different but pleasantly familiar. John is known for his well documented performances of Neil Young and his huge catalog of music, and this show will of course feature much of that, leaning towards Neil’s more country/outlaw roots. However, with the band Grey Riders, this inaugural show will also debut a mix of Outlaw Country and Southern Rock tunes from bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Johnny Cash and Eagles. Throw in some originals and you have the makings of one seriously cool musical evening.
