Join us for an unforgettable Jazz performance and the ultimate Jazz jam experience led by one of the longest running Jazz jam bands, Moore’s Lounge Players!

Moore’s Lounge has been running weekly Jazz jams for more than ten years. Even during the pandemic, Moore’s Lounge jam leader, Winard Harper, kept activities going by taking the group to the streets and jammed almost every week.

Every week Moore’s Lounge is filled with a vibrant energy not found anywhere else and unbelievably, great Jazz music.  Moore’s Lounge has fostered both emerging and professional Jazz musicians who journey from near and far to jam with Moore’s Lounge regulars.

The Newton Theatre presents Jim Messina

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Few musical artists résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to being a founding member of the seminal band credited with creating Country Rock; and only one artist can include all the above in addition to being one half of the most successful duos of the 1970s: Jim Messina. He's been a member of Buffalo Springfield and would go on to form the band Poco and then Loggins & Messina with Kenny Loggins.
