SOLOMON plays DYLAN

Friday, March 01, 2024 @ 7:30pm

Lizzie Rose Music Room
217 E. Main Street, Tuckerton, NJ 08087

A solo acoustic tribute to Bob Dylan featuring Gary Solomon of The THE BAND Band

There is perhaps no more influential, profound, or enigmatic songwriter in history than Bob Dylan. From the "protest songs" of his early years to his introspective, sometimes caustic commentary on love and humanity, his songs have become an integral part of Americana and have garnered countless awards and honors around the world.

Gary Solomon, co-founder of the acclaimed tribute to The Band, The THE BAND Band, steps on stage alone, acoustic guitar and harmonica in hand, to present a broad selection of Dylan’s incredible catalog, delivered singer-songwriter style.

The Newton Theatre presents Jim Messina

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Few musical artists résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to being a founding member of the seminal band credited with creating Country Rock; and only one artist can include all the above in addition to being one half of the most successful duos of the 1970s: Jim Messina. He's been a member of Buffalo Springfield and would go on to form the band Poco and then Loggins & Messina with Kenny Loggins.
