THIS EVENT HAS PASSED

The Strollers presents Children of Eden across three weekends from November 3-19, 2023 at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts. From musical theatre greats, Stephen Schwartz and John Caird, comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business!  It's about humanity - our first steps and fumbles, trials and triumphs, and ultimately how we live with one another on this earth.

Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet. but inspiring. message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."

Performances take place Friday and Saturday, November 3-4 at 8:00pm; Sunday, November 5 at 2:00pm; Friday and Saturday, November 10-11 at 8:00pm; Sunday, November 12 at 2:00pm; Friday and Saturday, November 17-18 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, November 19 at 2:00pm.

Tickets are $25; Senior/Student tickets are $20. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts is located at 10 Durand Road in Maplewood, New Jersey.

Children of Eden features Music & Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a Book by John Caird.  The production is directed by Carol Cornicelli with Musical Direction by Michael Nuzzo and Assistant Musical Direction by Ebony Wiggins.

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
