Eleven years ago, touring/recording veteran Marc Muller assembled a cast of world-class musicians to present the music of the Grateful Dead in a totally unique, note for note as recorded production, thus launching his critically acclaimed Dead On Live project. Since then DOL has broken all the rules in Grateful Dead tributes and recreated virtually all of the Dead’s commercial releases, as well as some of their more notorious live productions, note for note……Dead On…….Live!
DOL returns to MPAC to celebrate their 2020 pandemic-paused 10th anniversary with another stellar cast of all-star musicians to present a special Halloween Grateful Dead experience. You’ll hear plenty of fan faves as well as some deep cuts played, rather than the DOL branded note for note format, in a freer, more interpretive style, letting the music play the band! Great jams, great friends for a “Grate” birthday!
